Laptops ! What's the run down
Landmark Plaza (same building as Villa Market). IT is on the 2nd and 3rd floors - if I remember correctly the 3rd floor is best for a laptop.
I bought from the big shop immediately in front of you as you get off the escalator - they spoke extremely good English, they installed the correct operating system and software (all in English) and the price was very competitive.

A yank, so wouldn't buy any here. I buy online in US, and had 3 sent over so far, much cheaper, and better specs, along with guaranteed original software. Only bought one laptop here in 15 yrs.

Laptops ! What's the run down
Just as a suggestion and not trying to advise on what brand name to buy but the last 3 large construction companies I have worked with all issue DELL. Both laptop and desk top.
There is an agent that sells them. If you want this brand go on the DELL website, choose the type and spec's you want then take the copy to the shop. They can order and do back up sales service. Need to take a thai speaker.
They do have other brands in the shop.
Turn off the ring road at Big C and head towards Makro. It is some where between those 2 major supermarkets.
Picture of shop attached.

I'm an ASUS fan, and they can also order for you, though they offer slightly different / inferior specs than US offers. But if not a yank or have someone there to forward to you, oh well. NewEgg is excellent online vendor in US, amazing sales, especially a few months after release.

Just browsed NewEgg site ! Wonderful site, unfortunately I'm not American, and the deals in the uk are nowhere near that attractive. I have seen a few I like but all come without an OS. I'm sure it's just a Thai scheme to get you to pay more money but the components inside the machines seem pretty legit! Thanks for responding though guys

I was surprised to learn the US seems to be so much cheaper for electronics than EU / OZ.
Getting 'authentic' software, Windows is the problem when buying locally. Need to verify windows immediately during purchase. JIB is good store and online site. Advice also, due diligence on research...

Re: Laptops ! What's the run down
I've been ordering computer stuff from InvadeIT.co.th The have a large selection of laptops online. I just used them to order component parts to build a new desktop and am very happy with the parts, the packing, and shipping time to get here.
