Everton v Palace

Watched the game and thought it was quite lively and entertaining. The possession certainly reflects Everton’s very strong 2nd half and it was impressive, but perhaps not the complete story, because Palace might have won it – not robbery, but perhaps opportunist. Lukaku was unfortunate with two shots, his actual goal just a tap in. Everton also hit the bar, when Wickham diverted a cross. That said, Howard knew nothing about a close-in Wickham header that hit him on the chest and saved twice with his legs preventing certain goals. The pundits thought it was good, but were divided on the outcome. I think Palace would feel they did enough to deserve a draw, whilst Everton might believe, they could/ should? have made it three points.

Watched the post-match interviews, including Everton manager. Fair enough comments BUT "Palace - not good on the eye, but effective". Hmmmm, beg to differ on that one!

I love the skeleton 747man. That post must be a candidate for the post of the year on udonmap.

Gunners go top - Villa rooted to the bottom, as Newcastle soar up to 15th. I bet any Newcastle fan would have taken being above Chelsea before the season started.. :D

What a crazy season ! Last night was tailor made for the Spuds and Liverpool to get into the mix !
Chelsea now 1 point off the relegation places.....they badly need something from the match at Leicester tonight.

Leicester 2-1 Chelsea
Well Chelsea got nothing at all from Leicester. In truth, even after Chelsea managed to pull a goal back in the 77th. minute, the result looked rarely in doubt.
Poor display by Chelsea or a great display by Leicester?? A bit of both I feel, but Leicester rise back to the top & it is starting to look less & less like a fluke. I still think that the lack of depth in the squads at both Arsenal & Leicester may eventually catch them out but if they can carry on like this for the next 5 months then they will become the most surprising winner of the top prize in England for a considerable time...
