Gave myself an early Christmas treat and got a ticket for today's match at OT.
The atmosphere before the match was almost fearing and anticipating a shock result, sadly proved to be correct.
I have said from day 1 United will win nothing while LvG is manager. the sooner he goes the better.
i supported and felt sorry for Moyes, but LvG deserves all he gets.

One thing i will say is that a few papers have said some United fans were chanting Jose's name, that is utter rubbish.

Yes......well what where they,747 ? :confused: surely Udon Map has not deleted them without warning ? :shock:

For those that dont know,here they are.....sad reading for some of us. :(

Chelsea 3 Sunderland 1 ; Everton 2 Leicester 3 ; Man Utd 1 Norwich 2 ; Southampton 0 Spurs 2 ;
Stoke 1 Crystal Palace 2 ; West Brom 1 Bournemouth 2 ; Newcastle 1 Aston Villa 1 ;

The media are making a big thing about Jose Mourinho being appointed United manager this week ! It would be like out of the frying pan into the fire ! Both him and LVG play boring football and both are round the twist,albeit Mourinho could bring success for a couple of years.
Klopp was the manager most suited to United but too late now.Guardiola,I'm not too sure about and,given the choice, I would probably go for Ancellotti who plays decent football and would be a safe pair of hands in these troubled times.
70% possession and 2 shots on goal in 90 minutes against struggling Norwich tells you all there is to know about United,at the moment ! :( Norwich fully deserved their win,though.
But well done,once again to Leicester ! And another great result for Bournemouth !
Just when I thought our chance had passed,you go and save the best for last.

Greetings to my fans. :-" :D :lol: \:D/

I repeat my previous description of The Mouth: egomanic, questionable emotional & mental stability, multi tiered paranoia, delusional, God complex, plus arrogant, totally self centred, disrespectful, and divisive in the extreme. Based upon my respect for their business acumen,( rather than, in some instances, their oft demonstrated ignorance of football per se) , I express my personal opinion that there is a snowballs chance in hell of United; City; Arsenal; Spurs; Palace; Liverpool Leicester; Real Madrid; Barcelona or Bayern taking on The Mouth, complete with all the substantial baggage that is now synonymous with him. So you, along with the other two previously fanatical JM fans on this Forum, can relax.
With his "trophy only" success based and obtained entirely on his combination of parasitical and cheque book management style, and lacking any proven ability, experience or record, whatsoever of
a) originality in football tactics; b)turning a mediocre team into a successful one; c)discovering /recognizing merging young talent; d)nurturing promising talent to greatness; e)revitalizing an underperforming team or player with well crafted man management/interpersonal skills and, f)even less, creating a successful team at a club NOT possessing a club already stacked with top international players and bottomless funds to buy even more g)building and sustaining a squad of players providing quality and entertaining football long term
I am totally confused, and at a loss to find any justification for, the insistence of the deaf, dumb and blind media pundits, (comprised mainly of mediocre or failed players or managers, or professional armchair experts) insisting upon referring to The Mouth as CURRENTLY the best manager./coach in the EPL; the greatest manger EVER in the EPL/English football; a tactical genius (for heavens sake! :shock: ) and, most ridiculous of all as one of the greatest football managers ever. I wont bother to recite the names of far more talented and knowledgeable FOOTBALL managers currently plying their trade just in the EPL, let alone a lengthy list of past great and legendary Managers from the past!
And the lonely solitary fact EVER offered up to support these ridiculous assertions is a recitation of the trophies won by the ridiculously wealthy clubs during the times of his employment by them.
Finally, I would like to offer my congratulations to JM for his success in conning out of a millionaire businessman/football club owner, FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE TIME, an obscene amount of money by getting himself sacked for failure Incidentally, for the uneducated, or naïve, 'parting by mutual agreement' is merely a pseudonym for 'getting the sack', and therefore JM has indeed now been sacked four consecutive times.
I am sure we are all looking forward to staying up into the early hours of Tuesday morning to watch the match of the season. Hopefully neither Andy Townsend not Jason Roberts will be commentating, thus ensuring they will not spoil the occasion by talking endlessly about JM :roll:

Maybe some secret Everton or United sympathiser we dont know about......but thinking about it,your best result of the season so far was getting that 100 baht refund from that mall in Nong Khai ! :-"

Xmas came early for the Foxes. Giving 2 Penalties away at Goodison is a tad O.T.T. Only saving grace was what happened at Vicarage road. Kloppites outplayed, outfought and outclassed. Magpies at St. James' on Boxing Day is not a gimme! Seems to me you may be missing Port Harcourt, Warri, and Lagos at this time of year: I.M.W.T. Not sure about B.K. Though?

New thread for next season EPL 2015/16

Post by BobHelm » December 21, 2015, 9:33 am

From the Beeb...
In a season of unwanted statistics for Manchester United, here's another. They've been outscored by Javier Hernandez and Angel Di Maria.

Anthony Martial's second-half strike in the 2-1 home defeat by Norwich was their 22nd in 17 Premier League games, a modest record in part down to them having had just seven shots on target in their last four home league games.

Over in Germany, Hernandez claimed the only goal for Bayer Leverkusen against Ingoldstadt, his 10th in his last eight league appearances, and 18th in all since moving from Old Trafford for £7.3m four months ago.

Rio Ferdinand recently took to Twitter to reiterate his belief that the 27-year-old would have joined the list of the most prolific strikers seen at Old Trafford had he been given an extended run in the side.

Di Maria hasn't been quite so productive in front of goal, but nevertheless his double in a 3-0 victory over Caen was the Argentina midfielder's eighth and ninth since he joined Paris St Germain as United took a £14.5m loss in August, 12 months after paying a British record £59.7m for his services.

In all, that's 27 goals in 37 combined starts for the pair who were deemed surplus to requirements by Louis van Gaal. Add your own punchline.
They seem to dislike vanG there as much as me.

Garth Crooks does a 'team of the week' every Monday. Usually pretty hard to disagree with his choices. I think that the only 2 United players who have made it this season have been de Gea & Smalling - which is probably about right.
None make it again this week, but it does not stop him from making this point..
Genuine followers of the game are simply fed up with Van Gaal's banal style of football and his ability to make good players look ordinary.
when including the Norwich midfielder, Alex Tettey, in this weeks' team.
