Been here 30 plus years, yesterday was first time we've received a visit from a group of Carol Singers singing all the old favourites, most melancholic, pleasant and welcome, had to have a Hot Toddy to complete the scene. We wish All Udon Map Staff and Members A Merry safe Christmas and a Healthy, Happy and Prosperous 2016. For me the only Christmas song with any meaning is "Christmas Time in Washington" by Steve Earle, but I am a grizzled old heathen.

Interestingly the 1987 'Fairytale of New York' by the Pogues is at number 15 in the current music chart. That screaming load of nonsense (personal taste) 'All I want for Christmas' by Mariah Carey is at number 12. My ol' favourite was 'So here it is Merry Christmas' by Slade.
Here's tae us, wha's like us, damn few, and they're a' deid. Mair's the pity!
