Wayne Rooney reckons that all the players are right behind LvG ........ now that really IS a stupid statement, if they get any half decent manager after LvG I would have thought that it's bl**dy obvious they will be very close behind him through the EXIT door in Jan

Merry Christmas to all on Udonmap ........... xmas visit over :-)

Toon lost it 3 minutes into injury time but didn't deserve any more from the game. Elliot kept them in it until then and then he loses the match for us with a mistake.

LvG made to look like a bell end in the post match interview, not for the first time.

With the large price tag paid for Benteke, how on earth did he miss that near the end? Bloody Ben Ten could have done better.

A goalless draw played out between Leicester and Man City last night but a decent match. Man City should probably have won it with 21 shots to Leicester's 11, and 13 corners to 1 in their favour but Leicester's defence was pretty resilient. Both Hart and Schmeichel had good games but Toure, Silva and Aguero who all started had average games.

Confirmation for frustrated reds fans.

LOOK away now, Louis van Gaal . . . Old Trafford is officially the most boring place to watch football.

Manchester United fans have seen just 13 League goals scored by either side during home games under LVG this season — the worst record of any team in ALL four divisions. ('Currant Bun Rag' UK).

Christian Benteke scored the only goal as Liverpool edged Sunderland 1-0.That result leaves Sunderland in deep trouble,7 points adrift from safety.
Their match on Saturday at home to Aston Villa is crucial to them if they want to get out of the relegation zone sooner rather than later.
In contrast,Liverpool are now level on points with Manchester United and must harbour hopes of grabbing a Champions League spot. They are the early kick off, away to West Ham,at 7.45pm Thai on Saturday.
