I vaguely remember seeing my first Lao license plate in Udon.....many many years ago. I reserved an empty brain cell today for this sight.....on the ring road.

I thought the Lao Plates were Yellow ??

Looks like a Chinese license plate to me.

Visited a mate in AEK today and on the 2nd floor of the car parking every car was yellow Laos plated ... i know that hospital treatment is a bit dodgy over there but a bit strange that every vehicle was Lao , AEK must be raking it in the prices they charge .

Suppose these Asian plates will become more prevalent in the months to come as Asean kicks in .

It's a Chinese license plate and appears to be a made-in-China Ford Focus.....judging by the photo below (from the internet)

We were in Chiang Rai over New Years and we saw quite a few Chinese license plates...Most looked to be Chinese company trucks and pickups..
