I'm almost certain Ted Cruz not only said he supported an audit, but he also co-sponsored the bill with Rand Paul.

What kind of man co-sponsors a bill and then chooses not to show up for the vote?

There are many things I don't agree with Trump on but I'm liking him more and more as time goes on.

When I put him next to the rest, he doesn't look too bad. The others are obvious tools, no doubt.

Even if Bernie Sanders can gain the majority of Democratic caucus voters, he would still lose due to the "super delegate" (non-democratic, bought-out bunch) establishment supporting another Clinton. I found this article

Could a fair number of Democrats choose to vote for Trump rather than Clinton just because they are tired of the status quo? Hilary was on the board of Walmart and did absolutely nothing as Walmart crushed unionisation efforts, drove the TPP for Obama, has never seen a war she didn't like, loves bankers and hopes they love her too, listens to the war criminal Kissinger for advice... I think she just might get defeated by Trump It would be a sign of just how fed up some people in America were.

Yes, I could see that scenario coming about. Trump would have to change tack and moderate his behaviour to peel away enough of these Democrats. I think he'd do it if it meant he could get into the Oval Office.

The Republican establishment would be cursing a choice between Trump and Clinton. Quite a few, including many of the Bushes, might secretly follow Romney's donors and vote Clinton. After all Bill is practically a part of the Bush family these days.

The basic problem that will more than likely stop any Republican from getting elected is the "Entitlement Class" vote. As long as there are so many with their mouths on the government tit, you will never get anyone in office trying to wean them off it. Then you get the do-gooders who think it is a major crime to make anyone contribute to the welfare of the country who doesn't want to. Personally I would just show them the door.

i'm really not sure what I think of any off them, Trump don't seem like the usual republican, which in itself is a bit refreshing, and Clinton seems to be more of an old school hawkish republican. it's almost like there in the wrong parties. I think it will be down to this pair anyway and I might just swing trumps way slightly as voting Clinton would just be voting to keep the status quo . where as trump might come up with new ideas like America getting on with other countries rather than just seeing everyone else as enemies. I suppose it's worth a try . perhaps after the party nominations are over we might get a bit more meat about policies

Clinton would have to be born again to be even close to a republican. Her socialist views keep her firmly to the left. Trump has never been anything more than a capitalist. He believes in a strong economy and reining in government spending for outrageous social programs.

He may have woken that big lazy bear in America and got them onside....... the majority who previously had the "I don't give a rats ar.se" attitude and never bothered to wake up on voting day...they have an alternative now.

I agree also but I don't ever see him getting in. There are way too many "Gimmee, gimmee, gimmee voters out there, and they will come out in droves to keep their entitlements. You will probably even see them coming back from the dead to vote.

1. US China trade -
This is something I didn't understand when he goes on about how China is screwing us. So I looked up some background info here-

And a rebuttal to his plan (linked below) that makes me wonder if it's really even an issue to us at this point. Once those jobs are gone there not coming back without a high cost to the consumer.-

2. VA reform-
Sounds great to me, But privatizing health care for veterans is going to cost some money. How much his plan would cost the federal government or how he would pay for the reforms is not detailed on his website.

3. Tax reform-
Sounds good to me as I'll be paying zero federal income tax on under this plan. Everyone loves the promise of a tax cut, but is it good for the country?

According to the Citizens for Tax Justice, Trump's tax proposal would reduce revenues by around $900 billion per year, which would translate to about $9 trillion over a decade. The Tax Foundation is singing a similar tune: It predicts that the billionaire's plan would reduce tax revenue by some $10 trillion over the next 10 years (when measured alongside economic growth).

5. Immigration Reform-
To me, this ambitious proposal is the most appealing one on the list. But you have to remember that the immigration problem is by design. That cat's out of the bag and ran down the street years ago.

Few national politicians and fewer business leaders are serious about deporting 11 million people. Trump has stated many times that he will round up all illegal aliens and deport them, however this is not stated on the website. This opinion piece (linked above) is just an opinion, but does make me wonder what deporting 11 million people would look like. Would they just go peaceably into the night? Probably not.
