I cannot find the answer anywhere so I will ask the well informed people on here:
I have a marriage visa, renewable at the beginning if June. I been doing this foe 12 years now.
But, at the beginning of April I become a Old Age Codger.... can I use a letter from the consulate confirming
my pensions for a June renewal? I think that I read somewhere but I can't remember where that the
time limit is not less than 2 months which in my case will be just in time - I think....
Thanks

IMHO the best is to go to the immigration office and have your questions cleared there.
they won't bite you.
once cleared, post your experience here so that the rest of us can learn from you.

The embassy income letter/affidavit is good for 6mos from time of issue. Also, some immigration officers may tell you the letter is only valid within the same calendar year.

Quote from Thai Immigration:
If you are going to use the monthly pension or income for your visa application, you may start the process on the last day as the latest date or as early as 45 days in advance prior to the expiration of your current visa.
