I ballsed up the quote but flacker posted:

"i know soft lad, thats the point, only hear off you when your winning, get back under your rock till next week,we all miss your attempt at being a mod with your updates, but your silence is deafening???+"

Well that's what makes sport threads such great fun. Given the great interest in the Toffees among football posters they probably deserve their own thread.

I think Zids throws way more amusing raspberries than flacker. You have some homework to do to get near Zid's high standards.

Leicester continue to do all they need to for their first Premiership title - win.. :D
At the bottom a huge 3 points for Norwich sees them escape the drop zone, for now. Makes the result of the North East derby even more important..

Leicester are "on the home straight" according to manager,Claudio Ranieri.....just 7 matches to go and the dream becomes more and more of a reality.
Us United fans are dreaming about tonights match against City.....dreaming we dont get thumped ! 8-[ ....Kun Aguero always does well against us. :(
Amazing that Norwich get a win at long last.....makes the relegation struggle even more interesting.

This will make Zids Happy....MADRID - Jose Mourinho has signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United with a view to replacing Louis van Gaal as manager of the English giants next season, Spanish newspaper El Pais reported on Sunday.

Jose Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea in December after losing nine out the first 16 games of their Premier League defence
Citing sources from Gestifute, the agency company owned by Mourinho's representative Jorge Mendes, El Pais suggest a deal has been struck that could see the former Chelsea boss make pound sterling15 million (19 million euro), even if he doesn't end up taking charge at Old Trafford.

If United don't complete the deal by May 1, Mourinho will be entitled to pound sterling5 million compensation, should negotiations drag on beyond June 1 or break down, the 20-time English champions would owe the Portuguese a further pound sterling10 million.

Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea in December after losing nine out the first 16 games of their Premier League defence.

"I look forward to the future," Mourinho told BT Sport this week.

"I want my football back, time flies and July will be just around the corner."

Van Gaal is under mounting pressure if he is to see out the final season of a three-year deal he signed in 2014.

United were dumped out of the Europa League by bitter rivals Liverpool 3-1 on aggregate on Thursday and face an uphill battle to make it into next season's Champions League via a top-four finish in the Premier League.

They currently sit sixth in the table, four points behind Manchester City in fourth, ahead of their trip to City later on Sunday.

I dont really want Mourinho but theres nay other bugger ! :(
If we get a couple of decent seasons out of him and, maybe, win a trophy it will be a big improvement on the last 3 years. But if they do sign him up they should immediately make plans for his successor in a couple or so years.Possibly someone like Pochettino could be available then ? Just a shame United didnt get Klopp, imo.
I think nearly everyone knows that Van Gaal is a dead man walking.....well,maybe not mat80 ! ;)
The players arent daft. They know he wont be there next season. He'll either retire at the end of this campaign or be forced out when United can no longer qualify for the Champions League.

How did Everton get on,Alan ? Did they win again ? How many did Lukaku score ?

Four interesting games tonight (well, maybe not Southampton v Liverpool, unless you support either of those teams).
Newcastle v Sunderland,Southampton v Liverpool both at 8.30pm Thai
Citeh v United,Spuds v Bournemouth both at 11pm Thai
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Oh,sorree,Alan I missed the Everton score because I was sidetracked reading about your lilac shorts with the improvised ventilation holes ! :-#
So,the Toffees on 38 points the same as Bournemouth but below West Brom....I think you should just about be safe for another season, though.
Kun Aguero....he's the captain of my Fantasy Football team....should be rich pickings for him tonite ! :yikes:
