Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is sending a strong message to his people planning to dress "indecently" during the Songkran festival next week.

Has he given up on a strong message for the carnage about to start on the roads.
Would be better with police on the roads and not checking dress codes.

Maybe this is Waanjais idea of indecent exposure which is mentioned in the report which states the laws regarding indecent exposure will be strictly enforced.

Strong warning but almost impossible to enforce-with with all the people on the streets around the Country, the Army and Police would have to be out in FULL FORCE to do so.

So, what IS decent over songkran?

Have a look at the mayor and his assistants when walking thru town in these days. The colorful Songkran shirts in case they are hit by modern amounts of water. This is not HiSo Thai. Just average.

Topless Farang Fined 100 Baht in Chiang Mai

CHIANG MAI — A foreign man was arrested and fined 100 baht today in Chiang Mai for violating the junta’s ban on indecent dress while splashing water during the first day of Songkran.

At the time of arrest the man was shirtless and carrying a water gun. The temperature was expected to reach 41C in Chiang Mai today according to the Thai Meteorological Department.

Update: The shirtless man has been identified as a 28-year-old British man known as "Jimmy" according to police.

There would be a lot of people in trouble if they could enforce It. Really impossible to enforce<>can't even the Helmet Law.
