Thanks for the link to the i-mobile site that has at least a few words of english on it. NOw I have a driver although it is for 98/ME and I have XP but at least I have a driver. HOWEVER, I dl the driver and while installing it came up with an error about a missing file "ccport.sys on (unknown) is needed" I'll google that tomorrow.Stevo wrote: For details on your i-mobile 600... look here

Before you buy a new phone, I'd be tempted to get your 600 online...
what happens when you select "com port" option after plugging into USB?
have a look in windows control panel/network&internet conn./phone&modem options/modems
Anyway, when I plug it in and select com port the phone only shows up in control pahel/hardware/device manager and that is with an exclamation point and states that the drivers are nto loaded or can not be found. Now after the win98/ME drivers are onboard the phone moves from an i-mobile section in device manager to the usb hub section but still has the exclamation point there.
Perhaps I need to get back to Virginia and search for the CD. Not really like me to let it go without at least making a copy of it. I'm just never in virginia long enough to know what I have there besides a couple of children running up the electric bill.
