=D> =D> =D> \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ ..trubrit hit the bullseye 2 times now ...
at first is was thinking i stood alone with my opinion and view on this ...
also to me when giving a review of restaurant you must be able to comment on the good as well as the bad ,
and on commercial websites as udonmap, this is not possible , so i always take reviews here with a large pinch of salt ..
the best way to know it is true is to go taste yourself , because everyone has different taste buds...
so what's good for you isn't maybe good to me ...but never the less we normally (almost?) all do want to know a price when an item is advertised ....
small example , not everyone is living in the near proximity of the advertising shop , so if they mention a product with an excellent price (to me ) i would jump in my car (if i would be in need of that product) , and drive to town as quickly as possible , but if no price is mentioned , i wouldn't even bother , because i am thinking (presuming) the price is too high (to post)and it will be a loss of money and waste of time driving all the way to town ....
but again as long as you are happy ...good luck to all shoppers... ;)

While it is true that (at least for now) we allow advertisers to have negative reviews or posts removed, we see it as a great marketing opportunity for an advertiser to respond to a substantive negative review or post; and we encourage our advertisers to treat them in that way. While I don't want to single out any single advertiser at the expense of any others, Bubba's (no longer in business, so no problem) was great at this. Negative reviews or posts always got a response from Bubba with an explanation of what happened, an apology, and an invitation to return for a free meal.

As a data point (and while my memory isn't what it used to be), I don't recall that we have removed any posts for that reason so far in 2016.

all very true, as I said it's marketing. hang on i'm a bit confused . maybe a bit over exuberant last night. but which retailer has not informed about the price of his sausage ? because strangely enough I know all the prices from various suppliers even though I've never even asked the retailers , but other people have purchased them and told me.
how many retailers are actually actively advertising sausages currently ?

Just thought to advise that our pork sausages are still 239 Baht per kilo as per our published price list.

Although our sausages are much the same as you would purchase in the UK they are not English. We have in fact looked into importing sausages, Walls for example, directly from England but the cost is simply prohibitive.

Incidentally, our bacon is still the same price per kilo as our pork sausages whether you are purchasing lean back, middle back or streaky. Actually, you could have say half kilo of bacon and half kilo of sausages for 239 Baht.

What............you mean they aren't made with UK pork by Brits........

New Flash......... unless imported, none are, that are even close to reasonably priced.......... then it's a Thai pig, and Thai workers making your Thai, oops, English sausages. Well, except for that one guy, who makes them fresh. But besides that, the only thing English is the labeling.

Quite frankly, I've had a few different offerings from different vendors, over the too many years, and they're all pretty much the same. So in that aspect, price and convenience of vendor location, parking, would dictate a purchase.

I think you win there Fuzzy, as I can sit and have a Beer Lao for ฿75 and watch life go by as the Mrs browses at Central \:D/

One of the very few venues / vendors in Udon, that has stood the test of time...... =D> =D> =D>

My Mrs browsing in Central will increase any reasonably priced goods I've found by about 1000% so I'm always better off in out of the way places paying a bit more :D

Do you know what any advertising medium, whether website or any other is? It's a way for potentail sellers to introduce their products to the marketplace(Us). It is generally accepted that what they say on there is truthfull and a honest presentation . Most advertising outlets insist that the ads they accept conform to this principle, not sure if UM does.
To suggest that if one customer say's the product is the best he has had, entitles the seller to claim we should all agree with him is ludicrous.I personally read on here two, not one, report that a new outlet makes the best pizza in town, but when my family tried it we all ageed it was the most tasteless one we have ever had.
BEST is a very subjective description covering a multitude of possibilities, including the individuals preference and even how much it cost compared to others on the market. A wise marketeer would avoid using it without being more specific, such as saying, a survey of xxx number of people voted it to be the best they have tasted. So as I said previously let the consumer decide, we are not all fools that believe all we read on here.
Taking the last sentence from TB's post, I beg to differ, judging by some of the posts on this subject, that is a erroneous statement TB, there are many on here which portray themselves as complete idiots let alone fools.
