Re: English Premier League 2016/17
Jurgen Klopp says he is unsure if Danny Sturridge will be fit for the first half of the season after a freak water in the eye accident ruled him out of the games v Barcalona & Mainz 05...... (thought Mainz only scored 4 )

Re: English Premier League 2016/17
Some people just can't help it.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic should be dropping down a league or two as he approaches his 35th birthday, but when he was born in Sweden all those years ago he inherited some sort of showbiz gene. So of course he signed for Manchester United when Paris got dull.
Of course he announced that he would be a God there. Of course he scored the winning goal in his first competitive match. Of course it was at Wembley. Of course the word is that his pre-signing fitness tests would put players 15 years younger to shame.
AND OF COURSE Naill Quinn proves he wasn't actually watching the game yesterday ....... probably down the pub with his mates

Probably shouldn't mention this yet, but i've heard it from a couple of fairly reliable sources, and it might be that it's one that the paperazzi have missed out on but .............. Paul Pogba could be going back to Man United
Keep it hush hush now we don't want to spoil the surprise :-"

Re: English Premier League 2016/17
Pogba signs for a mere 89m.....not 100m plus as rumored earlier !
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

still, good business for the smaller club on merseyside maybe now they can use that money to enter the transfer market looks like zidane was right, the 100 mill transfer kitty was dependent on the sale of stones and maybe Lukaku, say what you like about kenwright but hes a business man through and through, been having the fans off for years, carry on bill your doing a great job =D> =D> =D>http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/37020275

Re: English Premier League 2016/17
Now it's all starting to move ........
Everton are closing in on the signing of Swansea City star Ashley Williams, according to Wales Online.
Everton, whose defender John Stones was announced as Manchester City's latest signing this morning, have reportedly had a £10m bid accepted for the Welshman.
Sky sources understand Sunderland defender Lamine Kone is this morning on Merseyside as negotiations continue over a potential move to Everton.
Didn't I say sell Stones & buy a couple of good defenders ...... now sell Rom && buy Mata and Bentek oo errr I mean Berahino

Re: English Premier League 2016/17
I thought the idea was to sell players who weren't up to scratch, get another club to teach them the basics, and the buy them back for best part of 100million quid more than you sold them for.
I predict John Stones July 2020 will be an Everton transfer target for a mere 150mill (peanuts to the owners of the new Prem league champions )
