Issan Child Abductions

Post by Bump » March 13, 2007, 2:06 pm

This is for Thiavisa.com

(I-Newswire) - IMMEDIATE MEDIA RELEASE
Khon Kaen, Thailand
Child abductions
March 7, 2007

Khon Kaen and surrounding village areas of North East Thailand have reported numerous abductions of children and some adults.

There is an active participation of over 100 persons involved in these abductions spread out over a large area as if filling a quota. The abductors work in groups of two to five or more persons and are generally seen driving newer vehicles. They are abducting people all over North East Thailand and so it seems there is little or nothing being done to investigate or stop these abductions. Just about every village has accounts of abductions.

The reasoning behind these abductions no one is really sure because there have been only a few bodies found and some of those were missing body parts such as eyes, heart, kidney and or liver.
Two twins were taken on their way to school with witnesses observing the abduction.
Husband and wife abducted, man was drugged by substance being sprayed into his face and he later awoke to see his wife lying next to him with her two eyes removed.
10 year old boy taken and later found covered in field with eyes and heart removed.
The strange part of all this is that this is not the first time abductions have happened. Crop planting or harvesting time is the preferred time of these abductions and they have happened a number of years past but never like this current organized high numbers of abductions.

Abductions

Sounds wierd and I wouldn't have posted anything, my preference these days. However our housekeeper told us today that a four year old child was abducted in Udon yesterday, by people driving a van. This is similiar to the MO talked about in the thread. It's in the Issan section if you have children I suggest you follow up on it. What you do with the information is your business not mine.

So true, not true I don't know.

Whaw, This is scary.
Is there some confirmation about this story from other sources???
It seems to be all over isaan, Konkaen, Udon,....Norteast thailand.
I am also puzzled by:
"man was drugged by substance being sprayed into his face and he later awoke to"
Not much you can do to protect you against a spray in your face!!!!!!
Is this something like a serial killer, or is it for thew sale of organs????
Really scary :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

Oh dear, here we go again. A massive police stop and search was mounted yesterday looking for a white mini van which it was reported possibly had abducted two young boys. It all turned out to be a rumour after some children playing had seen a kid screaming when getting into a minibus, and reported it to their teacher. From there the story escalated into a full scale search throughout Udon with roadblocks set up to detect them. The truth was revealed much later when no children were found to be missing and the minibus was traced to reveal the owners own kid didn't want to go home, hence the sreaming. The police are to be commended for their quick reaction and thankfully no children were abducted. =D>

I personally would believe that this is a hoax.

I-Newswire is a free press release service that has now been banned from Google because of some recent hoaxes that have been sent out. I-Newswire does not verify or even attempt to verify the information that is being released. You can read the original press release on their web site: http://www.i-newswire.com/pr93673.html Make sure that you take note of the disclaimer at the end of the press release:
If you have questions regarding information in this press release contact the company listed below. I-Newswire.com is a press release service and not the author of this press release. The information that is on or available through this site is for informational purposes only and speaks only as of the particular date or dates of that information. As some companies / PR Agencies submit their press releases once per week/month or quarter, make sure check the official company website for accurate release dates as our site displays the I-Newswire.com distribution date only. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information on or available through this site, and we are not responsible for inaccuracies or omissions in that information or for actions taken in reliance on that information.
Look at the logic of what is being reported:

1. If these abductions had been taking place, don't you think that the traditional and main stream media would have reported them?

2. Why is the contact person for news coming out of Khon Kaen in Bangkok?

3. This is an alleged Thai problem - not a falang problem or situation. So, why is the contact person a generic falang name like "Tom Smith."

4. In reality, organ harvesting is not done on or from random people just picked off from the street. This reminds me of the old hoax about people getting drugged and waking up in a bath tub full of ice missing one of their kidneys.

I strongly suspect that it is bull sh*t.

Val, I think that you are mixing two different stories.
"later awoke to see his wife lying next to him with her two eyes removed. "
This doesn't seem to me like only children screaming.
But I don't know the story.
that is why I asked for confirmation from other sources.

Cookie - Val was relating and responding to the story about the kid that was allegedly abducted in Udon yesterday, as was reported by Ray. He was not responding to the alleged organ harvesting abductions.

Thank you Doc. Yes I was commenting on the local story as reported by Ray. The other one seems too far fetched to be worthy of comment.

T'aint Dum Na time yet.. And why the devil would planting or harvest time presage organ abductions??? So, are they starting early??
The TW honked about all this gahbahge as it hit the Thai news the other night.. I'd say the media will entertain anything to divert attention from the inadequacies of the current gov't.. Oh wait a minute!!! They can blame it on TRT and Taksin, Yah, that's the ticket!!! It's all a violent capitalist plot to steal organs from the poah folk... Those rich bahstids will stop a nought!!

Well whatever it is, the Housekeeper said she saw the news of the Udon abductions on Thai TV last night. I have no reason to disbelieve her. Frazee may be very correct seems very logical to me. However, that being said if I had children here I would certainly be doing what I could to find out the accuracy of the news cast. I don't so it ain't my yob man. As Forrest said thats all the I have to say about that.

Hope you guys are right and the houskeeper is wrong

You know guys I have to say that you have really went past anything I can remotely understand anymore. Sure parts of this are out of the realm of possibilty. But others are very much a part of the world we live in today. I really had to push myself to post this original article. Did any of you bother to read the entire entry on Thai Visa. Did you happen to see where the schools in the area were given composite photos of suspects, by the Police The reason I had to push myself because I knew it would be ridiculed. But you know I would rather see the subject ridiculed, then to think that I night have information that could keep a child from being harmed and said nothing.

So there are no suprises this is what I posted on Thai Visa, as to the original poster on that forum. Unlike you guys I'm grateful that he cared enough to try:

Now I will go back to reading.

You know I really noticed a very amazing thing today, I had pretty much stopped posting on the Udon local forum simply because it had become to cynical. When the housekeeper came in today that I had not spoken one word about this to or for that matter to my wife. With her story of a child abduction in Udon on local Thai TV last night. It was attacked immediatley lot faster then here. I would not have posted it if I didn't think it was serious, as I knew it would be attacked.

I know rumors abound here, take the bombings here in Issan as an example, after the Bangkok Bombings. It does happen.

I felt the original poster of this topic was showing a genuine concern, for the children in his area. Seems to me that would be worth celebrating, that there are people in the community that care enough to try.

I hope the entire thing is bogus that would be wonderful. But I would hate to think that someone in our community knew of this and said nothing for fear of being rediculed.

At worse case folks maybe someone is just watching thier children a little more cloesl, is that a bad thing?

Fact is in the world we live on today no matter what part of it we are in, children are abducted everyday. Not news that chidren are still sold into slavery in our poiltically correct modern world.

So applaud the original poster.

My apologies guys but you have really freaked me out on this one. This is one of our own members he didn't post it here and I think I know why.

To be sure, it isnt just rumours. Middle of last week ,our village and the adjoining one was crawling with boys in brown, a truck with four police stopped at our farm gate and spoke to my wife, she translated to me that they were looking for two children who were missing, I suggested that she tell them to check the local swimming hole ,which is on our boundary as there were heaps of kids there that day.
The children missing were from an adjoining village, the little girl was found next day diss-embowled , the little boy is still missing.
This was confirmed by the policeman customer of ours.
We live between Udon and Sakhon Nakhon.

My Brother-in-Law, who is a Police Major here in Udon called the TW's mum today to ask us all to keep a close eye on his son and our other niece.
I don't know why he has only called today if these rumours have been going about for sometime because I have not had a chance to talk to him personally but if he is taking it seriously then I am sure going to.
Maybe its time to stop debating whether it is an urban legend or not and just take the post as I believe it was intended.
A heads up for all those with children in their families to take a little extra care of them!

Hmmmmm... such hysteria.....

Rumors breed rumors ad infinitum...

However, to provide a valuable service to the community - I shall go and make the appropriate inquires later in the morning and report back to everyone with the actual facts from the sources.

All of this reminds me of the crap that was going around about the so called bombings in Khon Kaen and even at the Complex. In the villages - rumors are the highlight of everyone's day.

Now - if I am wrong in my prognosis - show up at the Clock tomorrow night at 7:00 and I will buy you a beer. The requirement is that you post here first that you have FIRST HAND knowledge that someone in a position of authority told you PERSONALLY that this has been going on.

In the mean time - I am going to do everything that I can to find the girl that was disembowled so that I can see evidence of the so called fact.

Those that know me will tell those of you that don't know me that I am one cheap bas*ard - so here is your chance to get something for free. :D
