I have just spoken to Steve via the 'phone, he confirmed "he'd suffered a serious Heart Attack and he was awaiting the arrial of a Surgeon from Bangkok to carry out further tests He sounded extremely weak which he admitted he was. He is in our Thoughts and Prayers These things always seem to happen to "the best of the crop". He said Marli will update us on further Developments. I was in to see Steve this morning, and according to him a surgical attempt was made on Monday by his local cardiologist to fix his blockages, but it was unsuccessful. Another cardiologist is coming from Bangkok next Tuesday the 11th to make another attempt. Needless to say Steve is experiencing a lot of anxiety and apprehension which is totally normal in a situation like this, but he's got his chin up and thinking positive on the outcome. As of now the T-Bar will continue to operate and Mali will be bouncing back and forth to supervise as well as stay as close as she can to Steve.

For those of you who wish to visit him, he is in the 3rd Floor Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) which is just past the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in room CCU2. He can accept visitors. If you happen to go to the International Desk on the Ground Floor to inquire, Steve is listed as George Steven Charles, so that can be a bit confusing.
Colossians 2:8-10...See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily; and you are complete in HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.

Have just returned home, having visited Steve earlier this afternoon.
We confirm arrangements have now been made for a specialist heart surgeon to fly from Bangkok next Tuesday, 11th. October, to consult and advise upon Steve's medical condition. Based upon the outcome of his proposed detailed physical examination of Steve, conjunctionally with his case history, Steve & Malee, together with their loving family, will then face the emotional trauma of having to decide which of the surgical options recommended, they should choose.
We took the opportunity of printing out a complete copy of this thread, which we handed to Steve, during the course of our visit. It says everything about this very special man, that he was genuinely shocked and humbled at the volume and contents of the posts received.
We have agreed with Steve to visit him again at the hospital, in the early evening of next Tuesday, and thereafter we will post an update for the benefit of all you members who have so kindly expressed your concerns. If anyone should want an update in the interim, then of course there is available the option of telephoning the CCU Unit at Bangkok Hospital.
