This was flickflack's last attempt at a "selfie" during the Analfield stadium tour last July

And he still hadn't figured out which way the camera went by the time he got to the "legends" section of the tour

Former Wrexham midfielder Mickey Thomas says Dean Keates is a contender to become the club's new manager.
Keates, 38, made over 150 league appearances for Wrexham and captained the Welsh club to an FA Trophy win in 2013.
He is part of a management team in temporary charge of the National League club following Gary Mills' sacking.
Macclesfield manager John Askey is the favourite to succeed Mills at the Racecourse 8-[ and former Wales winger Thomas said: "I think he wants it by all accounts
"But I think that would be very expensive to bring him on board. But he has got good pedigree."

I don't think John Askey will go to Wrexham as they are a very poor team and only slightly better off financially than Macclesfield.
I think Askey is playing mind games with Maccs owner to release more cash for a couple of season long loan signings.
Apparently,a poll of Wrexham fans showed they want Craig Harrison, manager of TNS (The New Saints) to be the next man in charge but the Wrexham job is a bit of a poisoned chalice. They have been in the Conference since 2008 with no sign of them getting out.

Incidentally, some FA Cup 4th qualifying round results that may be of interest :-s

North Ferriby 1 Macclesfield 4
Altrincham 3 Matlock 1
Barrow 2 Tranmere Rovers 1
Southport 1 Chester 0

and some replays.....

Curzon Ashton 2 York City 1
Wrexham 2 Stamford 3.......Stamford from the 8th tier of the Football League

Tranmere,York and Wrexham all former long term Football League teams humbled and knocked out.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

RIP Careless Hands: Tributes paid to Gary Sprake, forever a part of LFC folklore
09:27, 20 OCT 2016 UPDATED 09:50, 20 OCT 2016
BY DAN KAY
Leeds United and Welsh goalkeeper dies aged 71

Gary Sprake's moment of infamy in front of the Kop, December 1967

Tributes have been paid to former Leeds United goalkeeper Gary Sprake who has died aged 71.

The Welsh international became part of LFC folklore when he accidentally threw the ball into his own net when playing for the Yorkshire side at Anfield in 1967.

He made over 500 appearances for Leeds during 11 years at Elland Road that saw him win First and Second Division championship medals as well as League Cup and two Inter-Cities Fairs Cups honours. He also won 37 caps for his country.

Leeds players Gary Sprake, Paul Reaney, Billy Bremner, Peter Lorimer, Johnny Giles and Terry Cooper show off the League Cup after beating Arsenal at Wembley, 2nd March 1968.
His infamous blooper in front of the Kop came when Don Revie's side came to Anfield for a crunch First Division clash on 9 December 1967 trailing Bill Shankly's men, who were third in the table, by three points.

Already trailing to Roger Hunt's 18th minute opener, Sprake's unfortunate moment came just a minute before half time.

Having gathered the ball after a Liverpool attack broke down, Sprake shaped to throw the ball out to full back Terry Cooper but spotted Reds winger Ian Callaghan closing the defender down as he was about to release the ball and decided to hold on to the ball, checking his throw only to lose his grip and accidentally send the ball into his own net.

Sprake stood transfixed in horror as the Kop reacted with a mixture of amused celebration, while referee Jim Finney who had missed the incident asked centre half Jack Charlton what he should do, to which the England World Cup winner replied, according to Sprake himself, "I think the silly so and so has thrown it in his own net; you'll have to give a goal."

Sprake's misery was compounded as the Anfield DJ cheekily played Des O'Connor's Number 1 hit of the time, 'Careless Hands' over the tannoy at half time which the Kop gleefully continued singing throughout the second half as Liverpool cruised to a 2-0 victory.

The Welsh custodian made a string of saves to prevent Liverpool increasing their advantage which won applause from the Kop, and he remained remarkably philosophical about the incident, even naming his 2006 autobiography Careless Hands.

He later said: "Obviously I wish I hadn't made any mistakes but it is an inevitable part of being a goalkeeper. I have read lots of comments that I was nervous and that I somehow lost my confidence due to the mistakes but this was never the case.

In celebration of Gary - a fading force

"If I made a mistake, I would put it behind me and get on with the game. I think the games where I made mistakes prove that, such as at Anfield. Even though I scored the own goal, during the second half I played really well.

"That day at Liverpool I actually had a good game. At half-time the lads told me, 'Come on, get yourself together. We can do better'. We never criticised each other apart from me and Big Jack [Charlton], and that was all forgotten afterwards. I never got much stick off the supporters, then or now. It has mainly been the ex-players' books."

You grubby little man !How long since you have been to goodison ?
Only a short walk from your home in the poor part of town !
If it wasnt for your keeper you would have lost 5-1 on Saturday.
Good you are not having to work now and have paid off your debts to the Inland Revenue :-$
