A would think that this is the time to be a quality centre half..
Name your own price to just about any club in the Premiership I think..
Does make for exciting football though.
While last season may have bought the biggest surprise in a winner; this season seems to be exciting & unpredictable every week - although Chelsea are starting to look like the one that ave the edge at the moment..

First half United were the better side.Sharper,quicker to the ball and crisper passing.They deserved their lead at the interval......electric power flickering ominously in Nong Khai.
First 15 minutes of the second half was much of the same,although de Gea made a great save from Mirallas.
Then on the hour,Everton replaced Cleverley with Deulofeu and they came into the game more with United sitting back.
It seemed that United had done enough to hold on but we reckoned without the impact of Fellaini who came on as a sub with a few minutes left.
In his short spell on the pitch he conceded a penalty,got booked for arguing with the ref and kicked the ball out of play when in a good attacking position still he's only on 130k GBP per week so we shouldn't expect too much of him !
United are 6th in the league because they are currently the 6th best team in the EPL and not up to the standard of the top 5.Everton,slipping now,will be worried that the likes of Sunderland and Crystal Palace are reviving.

I take it the blinkered Zid missed Zlatan's heel come down on Coleman's bonce on purpose, Life ban? Nor Rojo's two footed lunge on Gana. Thought it was only Mr. Wenger who is quoted as often saying "No I didn't see the incident" Looking forward to Dermot Gallagher's viewpoint in "Ref Watch" on "Sky Sports News HQ a little later today. All in All a fascinating weekend of Sport with Rugby, Snooker, Live Football. all on simultaneously. Remote too hot to hold! Ibrahimovic on Coleman was accidental and Coleman actually cut across Ibrahimovic instigating the collision,plus its his ribs that are sore not his head !
Rojo's was an over enthusiastic tackle,I agree,but he did get the ball not the man and no injuries ensued.....red card would have been harsh,yellow card a bit lenient ??

I would like to draw our two "learned" Everton fans attention to the Forum Users post by UM yesterday about Fraudulent Posts.

In these instances it has been decided that no further action will be taken against you two with the proviso that you both post balanced match reports involving Everton in the future. (some hope).

"FRAUDULENT"? COURT OF ARBITRATION FOR SPORT may think otherwise. My Fellow Toffeeman in Nong Khai was Spot on (as was Leighton Baines) with his thoughts (quotes) of the Esteemed Howard Webb. Still believe "Sin Bins" are a practical slternative, trouble being Gareth Barry might take part-ownership if he could get the timing right =D> see, I'm not that biased

Middlesbrough 1-0 Hull City

This was one of those games that both teams needed to win if they were going to stand much chance of staying in the Premiership - even this early in the season.
Boro have not played badly, but have had issues, at home especially, picking up points.
They certainly deserved this win & it rockets them up the table to 13th.
Hull remain second from bottom & they show little to suggest that it will Championship football for them next season..

I agree Stat. I've seen the incident half a dozen times on various Sky programmes and the Beeb's M.O.T.D. Doesn't get any prettier. Had it happened in Rugby the powers that be would have enforced a ban that's for sure. I thought "The Turnips" were supposed to be a peaceful lot.

Early kick off at 7.30pm Thai,Watford v Everton,two teams that blow hot and cold.Depends which of them is more up for it on the day,I guess.
The late kick off,Leicester v Citeh,is probably the pick of tonights matches.
Two fascinating matches at the bottom of the table at 10pm.....Hull v Palace,Swansea v Sunderland.....I reckon the away sides will win both which will leave the home teams in a desperate fight to avoid relegation.

Sunday is the better night for viewing featuring both Chelsea and Liverpool with comfortable looking home fixtures.
United v The Spuds looks the pick of Sundays games at 9.15pm Thai.
