First of all - thanks for the info on drill bit sharpening. My wife has two lots that have lots of weeds due to the rainy season. Do you know of someone we can contact to get it cleared? Thanks!

If you're in a village and referring to stuff which has sprung up requiring a strimmer (or weedwhacker, brushcutter, as some term it), then some local would surely take care for a modest sum. If your wife is Thai, she should know.

Our 730 sq m block was covered with 2 metre high Guinea grass. Paid a local guy with a brushcutter to clear it and remove the grass from the block. Took one man two days and cost 1,000 baht. Controlling regrowth with Roundup.

Why use a deadly pesticide, why not get the same guy back in six months. All your doing is poisoning the ground water and adjacent land, where do you think it go's every time it rains?
