Hi do you travel on your own with 53kgsWee Jimmy wrote:Buy a set of hand scales before you leave and make sure your on the correct weight. Never had a problem with Etihad regard to weight!! I weigh the bags before I leave my accommodation, go to check in and then on my way.
Most times I travel in economy with 53kl. 2x23kl and 7kl on board. I would not pay for excess baggage.

Re: Parcels from UK to Udon
Hi, Yes I travel on my own from Edinburgh. What you must do is make sure you have booked the correct ticket where it tells you 2 x 23 kl that makes 46kl plus 7 on board total is then 53kl. In Edinburgh they don't normally weigh the hand luggage but don't take the chance.
Re: Parcels from UK to Udon
I've just looked and it's Economy Classic your allowed 2PC at 23 kl. Ticket a bit more expensive but worth it, your also eligible for upgrade.

Re: Parcels from UK to Udon
Might be with worth paying the extra rather than sending parcels and having the problems with Thai customs. Import Duty is problem here.

For future reference, if you fly regularly with Etihad, get their loyalty card. My membership gives me extra allowance.
