thanks for this post it helped me contact v.a. it the start of a fight longer than the war lasted but my medical problems mount along with the 10s of thousands of dollars in medical expenses... not for me but my familys sake I will seek to get help from v.a. wish me luck...one tour udorn one tour takli both on edge of base at transmitter sites I remember snakes and birds dead and dying covered in a oil-like fluid who knew... im the first in my family to have diabetes who knows thanks john

It will be very difficult to prove your claim. You'll need lots of documentary evidence (including pics) to prove you were working on the perimeter. A friend of mine here passed away trying to prove he was exposed even though he developed a heart ailment covered under Agent Orange exposure.
I'll forward you some helpful info if you PM me as I'm unable to attach it here for some strange reason.
