Chris Wood against Leeds so soon after his £15m transfer. I predict now that whoever plays centre back for Leeds will be sent off for an elbow!!

Tomorrow see one of the top clubs in the country travel to Plymouth ..... for fans its is one of the farthest away fixtures this season and probably only a couple of thousand will make the trip to push the Iron on trying to remain unbeaten this season.

Elsewhere Leeds ..DMs adopted second club are also away at Notts Forest .. in an attempt to quell the Leeds fans notorious nature local police have laid on a no expense spared buffet and some side splitting entertainment for the traveling hand full of supporters .

The Krankies LIVE , FOLLOWED BY the Chuckle brothers n Norman Collier no so live !!!..

The buffet appears to be the staple diet of most Yorkshire folk ... mouth watering Tripe n mushy peas and Lard sarnies .

Fingers crossed for favourable scores for ALL our much followed local teams .

Must admit Leeds are one of the best followed sides in the UK .. just proves the fans must have the faith of a saint and the optimism of Pattaya bar girl in low season HAVING SUFFERED SO MANY MANY MANY YEARS in the footballing wilderness n lower Leagues AND still they turn up in their tens n hundreds ... Yorkshires finest Sykaiyertrists are now even forming the opinion that this behaviour could be a of group therapy maybe sharing the depression together . I will check out the away end at the City Ground today .. its one of the smaller away ends with a capacity of aprrox 107 depending on the Leeds fans rotundness.

Indeed .. MoT ... M O D T ..Marching on Depressed Together ????? .

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OUR LOCAL MUCH LOVED TEAMS TODAY ...

UP THE IRON .. Scuuny fans already inbedded at Plymouth for todays clash , several hundred arrived a day early to enjoy the tropical weather as it was snowing in Scunthorpe !!

Nottingham Forest 0 2 Leeds United
Plymouth Argyle 0 4 Scunthorpe United
Cheltenham Town 3 4 Exeter City
Colchester United 5 1 Forest Green Rovers
Port Vale 0 1 Crewe Alexandra
Great results for the Championship & League one followers, not anything like so good for League 2 though!!
Looks like Town are going to have to rely on 2 worse teams in the league, again, in order to survive.. Even more unfortunate is that, currently, Forest Green & Vale are looking like 2 of those candidates!!!

How to go from being top of the best league in the world to "laughing stock" in 24 hours

GREEN MEDICAL AT TERRIERS

More on this story now because we understand ex-England goalkeeper Rob Green is now having a medical at Huddersfield ahead of a proposed move from Leeds.

David Wagner, speaking after Saturday's draw with Southampton, confirmed Town have agreed personal terms with the player and are hoping to sign him on a one-year deal.

“We would like to sign Rob Green. We have agreed personal terms and we have also spoken to Leeds. If he passes a medical, which he will hopefully do today, hopefully we can announce this signing in the next 24 hours.”

Certainly a mixed bag of results this weekend.....
Leeds fans maybe already dreaming of the "promised land"........Scunthorpe could make it back to the Championship this time around BUT IN LEAGUE 2 Cheltenham,Forest Green and Port Vale battling it out for which two will have the honour of playing Macclesfield next season ! :yikes:

Got to agreed ADhoc ... DM watched the game and Leeds were very very good , they do look like a side that can finally get back in the big time and im sure they will be up there come the end of the season, again the little Aliosti whatever his name stood out but to be honest the whole team were impressive .

Leeds may also have won the lottery it Rob the fumbler Green signs for Huddersfield ... IMO they need to get shot ov him sharpish n the Terriers manager wants his bumps feeling if hie thinks Green is EPL quality .

A fantastic 4-0 away win for the Iron at Plymouth .. nothing to add except it all got to embarassing when Scunny Goalkeeper set up a picnic table in his six yard box and had a manicure n pedicure then enjoyed an afternoon tea SUCH WAS THE AWAY SIDES DOMINANCE, after the game he quoted ... the Earl Grey , scones n clotted cream really hit the spot and thankyou to Sharron for doing my nails they were in a terrible state .

UP THE IRON ... SCUNNY REMAIN UNBEATEN THIS SEASON .. YOU to could become a scunny fan its easy and you know it makes sense .

Valiant must be on anti depressants after his beloved Port Vales recent history ..fear not they will come good ...at some point .

A very poor start for us, 3 more Live matches here in the UK then supporting from Afar, Vale till I die. Zidane I bet you a pint/coffee whatever your choice we will not go down. The Manager will receive his P45 first. I hope he turns it round PVFC

Nah,I don't think you will go down valiant but I wouldn't be surprised if one out of Cheltenham or Forest Green did.
A big surprise is that Crewe are doing so well.Macc beat them 3-0 in a pre-season friendly and Crewe were awful, apparently.

A great performance by Leeds last night but still coming round after staying up for the match. The wife wasn't best pleased as she thought I had sneaked my mia noi in when she heard my squeals of delight.

Last time I was this positive about Leeds, Messrs Woodgate and Bowyer decided to derail Leeds by beating someone up outside a kebab shop. What could go wrong this time??
