Cheltenham Town 2 2 Luton Town
Crawley Town 1 1 Forest Green Rovers
Barrow 0 2 Macclesfield Town
The Iron on a good run & back up to 5th.
Vale back down to just outside the zone as Rovers match their result..
The top 7 all win in the National League so the Silkmen remain second..

Bit of a surprise this one.....he probably thought he had taken Wales as far as he could.....but Sunderland ?? Coleman hasn't been a great club manager either !

Chris Coleman leaves Wales role for Sunderland job

Chris Coleman has left his job as Wales manager to take over at Championship club Sunderland.
Coleman will succeed Simon Grayson, who was sacked after 18 games in charge.
The Football Association of Wales (FAW) confirmed: "Regretfully, Chris Coleman has resigned from his position with immediate effect."
Ex-defender Coleman, 47, succeeded the late Gary Speed in 2012 and guided them to an historic appearance at Euro 2016, where they reached the semi-finals.
Disappointment followed as Wales failed to reach the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia.
Coleman's assistant Kit Symons has also left his role of Wales coach.

I agree with DM's sentiments on this.
LUFC need to turn things around, and quickly if they are to keep in touch.
Beating 'boro would be a good way to start.

Being Leeds fan is like being the over optimistic parent of the fat kid on sports day

The thing about being a Leeds supporter though Niggly is that we can actually compete and win things occasionally. In the last 50 years, 3 league titles and 3 European Cup/Champions League semis bear proof to this as well as cup and other European success. If you discount the mega clubs - Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal and possibly Spurs, no other team (including Man C & Chelsea prior to the involvement of their rich benefactors) could match this.

To use your analogy, its like your fat kid going to boot camp for a couple of days every few years and practising for hours with his egg and spoon. After he wins though he goes back to the doughnuts and cakes but, as a parent, we still have the memories of that one golden moment.

Every other club, outside the big 3/4 (the likes of Newcastle, Everton, Villa etc) will always just be an averagely obese child who will always languish in mediocrity.

Pan,Look at Everton, in The 1980's Fa Cup Winners '84, Euro Cup Winners Cup ' 85, FA Cup Finalists '86 & '89....League Champions '87.....

They are the only club to have played over 100 seasons in the top flight of English football, the 2014–15 season being their 112th. :D :D :D :D :D

Howard Kendall era (1981–1987)[edit]
Honours Won : FA Cup (1984), Charity Shield (1984), European Cup Winners Cup (1985), League Championship (1985), Charity Shield (1985), Charity Shield Shared (1986) League Championship (1987).

Runner-Up : Milk Cup (1984), FA Cup (1985), First Division (1986), FA Cup (1986)

So Mr Panmotor.....A Little Bit MORE Than AVERAGE......

LUFC....." Who Are Yer ????? "
