Mrs Tam had a flat last week and when she took it to get plugged, the guy commented they were about the end of the road. Managed almost 75k out of these original Bridgestone Duelers so not complaining.

Ford have 'special' on until end of the year, see appended. Basically buy 3, get 1 free. Anyone have a recommendation for a sweet deal on new treads in Udon? I know Maxxis have a good reputation and along with Thunderer, are a low-cost option to the regular name brands. Just checking if anyone has seen decent deal in and around town on name brands like Michelin, Goodyear, BFGoodrich and the like?

Yang BoonKit Import an Export Tire shop on Rte 2 about 2km south of the Ring Road. Decent prices with a large variety of tires. Huge clean shop where when they mounted new tires they did an inspect on the brakes and install new brake shoes and turned the drums (they showed me the brakes/drums and asked permission). Thanks for the tips chaps. I will get stuck into this when I get back next week. I will see what tires Ford has in stock and then check out Yang Boonkit and UD-Max while I am down that way.
