all this if your land is big enough anyway ...

Im building in nong wua so.first thing, your out in the sticks and it will take longer than you think.second is cost, things may be a lot more than you anticipate anything of quality is usually imported and taxed to high heaven.third don't pay up front, you'll never see them again.as for recommending a builder.well there's a few in the uk I know but out here is a different ball game.my budget went 25% over and I'm a builder.i think the best way of having a home here is to sit back and wait and find a farang who's had enough and wants to sell up and go.ive seen people selling their property half the price they have built it for.anyway good luck and think deeply about it.Bonanza wrote: ↑December 13, 2017, 1:19 pmHi all.
Wife and I are ready to build a bungalow (single story) in Kut Chap (about 20klm west of Udon). We are financially conservative ie not the cheapest but certainly not the best.! We would love to hear from anyone who has built any house in this area, especially if they can recommend a builder! We are not in a hurry, but recommendations from satisfied customers count a lot.
Together Construction Thailand come highly recommended both here and many other places. Pm me for some details. They built my place last year and they were great as I mentioned previouslyBonanza wrote:Hi all.
