For my fellow members of the Leeds United Supporters Thailand (LUST), I am told that tonights game is apparently live on an ESPN channel in the US. It would normally follow that that would mean its also on MCOT Fam but cant see that its advertised. However, TIT so, tune in just in case.

Macclesfield Town 4 Wrexham 1
Big result for the Silkmen against one of their rivals for promotion.
They go top, although Sutton can regain that later away against a fairly less than average Leyton Orient !!

Shows how much I know... :D
Leyton Orient 4 Sutton United 1
Macclesfield lead the table by 2 points, Orient still sit just outside the danger zone..
Cheltenham Town 1 0 Crewe Alexandra
Town sit nicely in mid table while Vale are up to 19th. Rovers are down in the zone on goal difference only. They are 1 of 4 sides near the bottom on 20 points..

GREAT DAY FOR FANS OF OUR MUCH LOVED TEAMS ...except ONE ... Scunnys winning streak is ended at a wintry snowy Waslall ... DM not one for making excuses but obviously the bias referee and the challenging weather conditions proving the key ... i digress... the refs wife family come from Walsall and he made some strange decsions in fear of the fall out if they lost ..also for the scunny players flying in from a Balmy tropical Scunthorpe to play in such freezing snowy conditions surely effected the result ... LIKE I SAID I DONT MAKE EXCUSES !! ...

Great results for just about all our other favoured clubs .. Macc go top after beating wrexham in crazy weather , Robins win and even Port Vale put a smile on valiants face ...opps not forgeting ..LEEDS UTD who look like they are getting back on track after a lean spell ... 3-1 winners away at QPR .

Well done to Tracey and Brian Twatts from Morley who walked all the way from Yorkshire to watch the game for kebabs for Syria charity ... alas taking a wrong turn they missed the game as they ended up at the Queen of the South stadium in Scotland as the game there was postponed ... still they managed 43 kebabs on there trip and raised 4 quid so well done .

Onwards n upwards for Scunny ... still in 5th .. and IMO after going the whole month winning every game just how Graham Alexander didnt win the L1 manager of the month award is scandalous ...

Reminder its easy to become an OFFICIAL IRON FAN CLUB MEMEBER ... 50000 baht (cash only no cheques or CCs ) for life time membership and if you are one of the first lucky 10 applicants you get a free original copy shirt from Bobay market !!

A great result for Macclesfield in wintry conditions where the game was held up for 8 minutes because of heavy snowfall !
Top of the league by 2 points and a better goal difference now than Wrexham and Sutton, also beaten 4-1 yesterday.
The big threat I see is the pre-season favourites,Merseysides second club Tranmere Rovers, currently 10 points behind but with a game in hand and going well after a poor start to the season.
Scott Wilson got a hat trick....a young lad signed pre-season from Eastleigh.....bigger clubs could be sniffing round in January.
Maccs team is brand new this season....only 2 from last seasons squad featured yesterday.....and only 2 more still on the books.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Sir Ian Botham: Former England cricketer appointed Scunthorpe United club president. Looks fit enough to take to the pitch, couldn't do much worse =D>

Readers may remember that last weekend I sympathized with the fans of Fort William of the Highland League for their long 120 mile journey home after they had been thrashed by Brora 16-0.
It turns out that Fort William are having a shocking time of it,gaining just 1 point from their first 17 league matches and scoring 14 and conceding 95  .....that's more than 5 goals a game conceded, similar to Everton before Sam Allardyce arrived ! ;)
Their opponents tomorrow are Strathspey Thistle who are also having a bit of a "mixed season" :-s winning 1 and losing 18 of their first 19 league matches. They have scored just 10 goals and conceded 80  That's a goal difference of minus 70,worse than Crystal Palace when they lost their first 7 Premiership games ! :D
So,who is likely to triumph in this 6 pointer tomorrow ? Losing to a team that has just been beaten 16-0 is unthinkable but could happen......Strathspey do have ground advantage, though, and I reckon it will end up a 1-1 draw.....we'll see :-k
