Mourning Coffee the order of the day. One bright note, Ademola Lookman scored on his Bundesliga debut, the winner for Leipzig whilst his Parent club got well and truly trashed.

In fairness to 747 it was the late game & even he probably thought it was all over (as it was) when the Gunners went 3 nil up after 19 minutes & went to bed long before the final whistle.. :D

As I thought it looks like Arsenal got a real deal with the swap for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Admittedly it is very early days & he started well enough at United but I have a feeling that he will be very well suited to the Gunners' style of play & be a real asset..
Aubameyang brings goals on the pitch but a few issues off it..not sure how long that relationship will last but looks good value for money after game 1..

NO Bob I Did watch The Debacle to the BITTER End,I Was Absoloutley DISGUSTED With that Shower of Sh*t.....But I Will say the 4th Goal was 100% OFFSIDE & We should have had a CLEAR Penalty when Mustafi Pushed DCL in the back with BOTH Hands.....Not that it would have made any difference

We should be safe this year as Dave Allen use to say ...."May your God go with you" well I think we have it pretty well covered

"It has long been accepted that football is a religion on Tyneside and Newcastle fans have noticed their squad now contains players called: Islam (Slimani), Christian (Atsu), Mohamed (Diame) and Jesus (Gamez).

"Starting this weekend just one point above the relegation zone, Rafa Benitez will take all the divine inspiration he can get. However, Newcastle were denied victory in midweek by a penalty save from a goalkeeper called Pope.

"The footballing Gods work in mysterious ways."

Looks like Big Sam has finally found where to play Wayne Rooney ..

"Everton striker Wayne Rooney will be joining Jamie Carragher on Monday Night Football.

England's all-time leading scorer will be in the studio with Carragher and David Jones to see Watford face Chelsea from 7pm on Monday.

Not only will Rooney be analysing the game, but he will be discussing all the big talking points in the Premier League and answering questions about all aspects of his record-breaking career, including those submitted on Twitter".
