Re: Hwy 1175
I'm a cyclist as well and it looks doable in the video. The only downside I could see on the video was the lack of a cycling lane. However, when I dug further it appears like there is some substantial terrain at the western end of the route.

Re: Hwy 1175
That is only a small part of the route the good side not much traffic, You can do it. But, I don't think in one day. Maybe the wise thin would be to try it in a car first.
Re: Hwy 1175
yeah... i believe it can be done. it is about 2200m climbing! I prefer to split that in two days! Two longer climbs with approx. 500 to 600m altitude difference.
Re: Hwy 1175
I have another video of that Rd I will try to locate it and post it for you guys
Re: Hwy 1175
2200m of climbing puts it out of reach for me especially when on tour with 4 panniers, a trunk & bar bag.

Last clip I think
I believe the road is about 100 Klms for those considering a bike trip on it

Re: Hwy 1175
Coming from Mae Daring yesterday I turned into 1175.
Phantastic! A road like built for bikes.
Thank you for the recommendation
