eso-Psoriasis skin desease can u please help?

My Thai teacher friend has this skin problem...Comes along every April, May... He goes to BKK for a needle jab as not available at Sakon Nakhon or Udon....as we know of...

It is non contagious but looks awful over the body n he becomes lethargic n has time off teaching... It clears-up after 6 weeks with full medication.

He can buy cream to help the skin but; when it hits hard at this time of year he looks like a lizard and needs a special injection which he can only get in BKK at Ramkhamhaeng Hospital...

Has any member had any experience with the above skin problem, and if so, can one get the necessary full medication in Udon. I am trying not to have to go to BKK every year. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers, Mudguard..

If you can get your friend to write down the name of the skin problem/medication, I can search local websites to see if something pops up. If he writes it down, take a photo and post here

Parrot. You are very kind in your offer....I have asked him for the med injection name but dose not know n cannot get over phone..As to the cream he gets from Sakhon, they scrub out the name of before sale...
He does not have any records of treatment as he passes onto Gov for reimbursement...
He has just shown me a video of a herbal treatment from a Thai person who had same bad condition n he will see him if he has to also in BKK...

There's a quite good dermatologist at Wattana - female Dr.

Had a strange cyst on my leg, & the first line of treatment was a Cortisone injection. 1500 baht for one shot, which is violently expensive.

Your friend is almost certainly having a Corticosteroid injection in BKK.
