Concrete price

I want to extend a house plan 1m for an 11m width. Small amount of extra wall/roof, but does anyone have a guide price on price of concrete to extend this? What would it be..? 2m3 3m3?

Just in process of buying some myself ... Ready mix concrete varies in price from approx 1700 per cubic meter (local smaller supplier non computerized mixing ) to 2200 per cube Cpac company being the more expensive graded and mix by computer , for sure the smaller RMC will try to fiddle you by delivering less than ordered and the quality not guaranteed .

Depending on the concrete depth you can calculate it out your self plus then factor in the labour costs to lay it .

Cheaper concrete tends to be 30% cement water.best to buy the real stuff and they may charge for such a small load.

For most purposes a thickness of 100 mm is suitable. This makes for a fairly simple formula. One cubic meter of concrete will cover 10 square meters. Driveways for heavy loads should be thicker with steel reinforcing rod.

Drunk Monkey is on the money with his prices, price will of course vary according to your Mpa requirement, Our last batch was 1750 for a path around the house. I'm about to have 25 cu mtr for the new carport and drive installed, I haven't checked the price yet. Probably up towards 2000 per cu mtr. 25 Mpa minimum.
20Mpa is plenty for a walking path,
25 or above for your driveway or at times 32 Mpa for a building slab.
I doubt your builder will have the 1 cu mtr delivered in a truck, unless you insist, and will prefer to mix himself.
If my brain is remembering correctly when I was a boy hand mixing was the old 4 sand/2 aggregate /1 cement full shovel mix formula. My guy just mixed the new front fence by hand. As mentioned above there is a minimum load cartage cost.

Long long while since I did my electrical apprenticeship, we were always mixing barrows full of concrete for cable markers. I have forgotten all those electrical college formulas aswell.

All of the concrete in my build (probably upwards of 40 cubes so far - retaining wall, footings, garage slab) has come from the local family-owned batch plant in our village. Never been fiddled, the plant is fully automated and computer controlled. All they have to do is top up the sand and aggregate hoppers and keep the cement silos full.

As can be seen, price depends on mix strength - all of mine has been 24 MPa so far.

the strength is measured in los by seteng , that's why the st in front , prices will vary every where , i payed beginning of the year 1.850/M3/240 st for the swim with scg , they asked 50 baht/M3 for the waterproofing liquid , (namjaakansum),what i thought was to much , so bought this myself and added to the mixer at arrival , way cheaper and sure it was added ....

My advice pay the extra and get the strongest they sell , why save a few hundred Bhat and have weaker concrete.
Same with the rebar use a good spec .

don't know the engineering differences in the varying mixes but a better quality mix seems to be less prone to cracking, discoloration, pitting, dirt penetration and mold.. Our main driveway is cheaper concrete (thanks nephew who insisted he was "saving" me money) versus another driveway extension we put in with the high quality stuff which our nephew head-scratchingly told me was an exorbitant expense.. I'd definitely go with the higher quality/rated concrete.. Better to over-engineer than under-engineer...
