Amnesty: is Amnesty the head office of ISIS?
Amnesty: says, US-led coalition's in Raqqa offensive killed hundreds..
Pardon me but; there has never been a war without civilian casualties..That I am aware of..
Amnesty has always criticized the forces fighting terrorists..The world over..
I have noticed in all their comments over the last few years....

You’re right Giggle, money talks but i would pit our Special Forces and soldiers against any US equivelent, I’m a firm supporter of the US and I consider them the greatest ally the UK has, don’t denegrate our contribution to any of the conflicts we have fought together because in the grand scheme of things you need us as much as we need you, its not all about slinging cruise missiles at everything and everyone....yet....
The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

Pretty much.vincemunday wrote: ↑June 7, 2018, 6:34 amYou’re right Giggle, money talks but i would pit our Special Forces and soldiers against any US equivelent, I’m a firm supporter of the US and I consider them the greatest ally the UK has, don’t denegrate our contribution to any of the conflicts we have fought together because in the grand scheme of things you need us as much as we need you, its not all about slinging cruise missiles at everything and everyone....yet....
All of our allies share special forces training techniques, etc. None of the allies have a monopoly on preparation in the realm of special forces. I would bet that any "contests" between them would be pretty damn close.
I didn't see Giggle's comment as a slight on any special forces.
But you know, the ability to sling cruise missiles occurs sometimes as a result of what infiltrating special forces tell the rest of us outside of target area. In other words, all of the military groups and allies bring specialties to the table and necessary contributions to the entire mission. I don't discount any of them.

Re: Amnesty: is Amnesty the head office of ISIS?
Three little words describes the situation. "War is Hell". Innocent people die. ISIS uses innocent people as human shields. When ISIS was building strength, they had miles long convoys of soldiers and weapons travelling wherever they wanted. We had the airpower but Obama refused to allow (junior varsity) those columns to be attacked because they had civilians in the convoys.
Fortunately the Russians got involved and they had more common sense. The Russians totally destroyed those columns. Admit it or not, if not for the Russians and common sense, ISIS would be stronger than ever. If you are going to get involved in a shooting war, the object is to win. The enemy follows no rules.

US arms Islamic fundamentalists in Afghanistan to fight the Russians
Al Qaeda move into Afghanistan when it becomes a fundamentalist Islamic state
Al Qaeda commits 9/11 atrocity so in retaliation US claims Iraq has WMD even though UN observers on the ground says no
US takes out Saddam in Iraq where Al Qaeda is not even present
Al Qaeda move into Iraq/Iran/Syria as Iraq becomes power vacuum
US does diddly squat in Syria
ISIS spin off from Al Qaeda
so now we have this mess with a total failure of US foreign policy
No wonder this dirty war has far too many casualties. It shouldn't have been started at all, and like Vietnam the US looks plain stupid to the rest of the world.
