Help regarding Apple 6S phone

I am hoping someone can help me out with a problem my granddaughter has with her Apple 6S phone. She turned on phone after school yesterday and it requested she insert icloud ID and icloud password. .she has had phone a couple of years now and this never happened before....trouble is she has forgotten both of these. .

Her mother took phone to Apple store in Central and was told they could do nothing for her and phone would now be useless...she also tried a couple of phone shops in the Complex and they told her the same thing..

Has anyone ever encountered this before and is there any where in Udon you could recommend she take the phone for them to help her out... .Granddad does not really want to be forking out for new phone......any help and advice would be greatly appreciated..

If, however nothing works I can only, strongly, suggest that you stay as far as possible away from Apple products for a replacement & do what most sensble people do & go Anrdoid..

hi why did she not write the passwords down.if i have a problem i can not solve.i phone apple support.its a free phone no.which is 0800-1076285 they are brilliant.the hours are 9am till 9pm.uk time.i hope this helps.
