I have to agree 100% with the above post ......

Not sure if this should be here or in the Consolidated jokes thread .......... if you wrote it in a novel they would tell you to make it more realistic

I suppose now that Donald the lump has departed they feel they need to concentrate of the major problems facing the country .... and they dont come much bigger

MORE FUNDS FOR RAFA?

An MP has launched a Parliamentary petition calling on Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley to invest in the club - saying Rafa Benitez needs more support from the man at the top.

Chi Onwurah, Labour MP for Newcastle Central and a lifelong Magpies fan, is raising the issue of the Sports Direct tycoon's stewardship of the Premier League side which she perceives to be failing manager Rafa Benitez.

Her action follows a separate fan-led online petition titled If Rafa Goes I Go where supporters threaten to withdraw from the club if Benitez is not satisfactorily backed by the owner.

Just thought ...... perhaps the UK govt could sponsor the toon again like they did before when they bailed out the bank that paid our sponsorship a few years ago.. Not sure if its better to be sponsored by the UK taxpayer or the taxpayers of Saudi Arabia or Caymen Isles or wherever

Theresa May is going to call an emergency (drinks) cabinet meeting to discuss the problem with a view to insisting that FIFA fair play advisers pay money to Newcastle as they have underspent for so many years

Just seen the Geordies' petition for the government to take action against Mike Ashley, being read out in parliament. Ffs, they really are the east coast kopites aren't they.......

SURELY they aren't that bad ? I thought Geordies had a little bit of self respect.

10 seasons battling against your owner knock all the stuffing and self respect out of everyone

The fans have tried everything to get rid of the fat b@stard for years ....... complaints/marches/signs and posters/merchandise ban/ etc etc ........ All have failed. They now realise this is the "last chance" coz if they dont get him out now Rafa goes and we look at decades before we get another half decent manager who is capable of delivering a half decent team

so it was 50 mill then,we told you that the other day soft lad,here is a few of his comments "I want to have a lot of success with Everton," said Richarlison.

"Everton have put their faith in me and I intend to honour this shirt and demonstrate on the pitch why I came here. I want my dreams to become a reality here at one of the biggest clubs in England."

this must be the start of the so called ''powershift'' the everton fans were talking about

Its a tough one.I'd hope my local team,Macc Town in League 2,wouldnt want him but if Pickford moved on to a bigger club then he might fit in at Everton !

Newcastle have activated the £3m release clause of Deportivo La Coruna defender Fabian Schar.

We understand Swiss international is due on Tyneside for a medical later today.

Newcastle are looking to replace Chancel Mbemba, who they sold to Porto for £7m last week.
