Heineken Beer
Does anyone know if the bottled Heineken Beer labeled from Amsterdam in Thailand, is actually brewed and bottled in Amsterdam. I read the label and it says brewed and bottle in Thailand under the supervision of Heineken. The reason I ask is, the last 2 times I ordered the bottles labeled Heineken, Amsterdam. It tasted like the beer I used to drink in the states and when I was in Amsterdam. It does not have the same bad taste of the Heineken I am use to drinking here in Thailand. It really is good tasting. Is it wishful thinking on my part or my imagination ( have not had a good import of Heineken in the past 12 years) because I see the Amsterdam label. Which brings back memories of Amstel light which I could not get enough of when in the states.

Re: Heineken Beer
Most of the time I was in Amsterdam, I drank Amstel and Guinness although quite expensive. When I mention drinking Heineken I am talking about the beer that is imported to the US. It taste much better than what is produced in Thailand. I drank Tiger beer in the early years of my retirement here but when Budweiser bought them out they really screwed up the taste of that beer.
Anyway, I only drink 2 Heineken when I go out to eat because there is no other good beer on offer. I now drink Jameson at home.
