Traveling to Koh Samui.
Re: Traveling to Koh Samui.
There is an airport on Koh Samui. It has 23 flights daily from Suvarnabhumi (none from Dom Muang).....21 flights are Bangkok Airlines and 2 Thai.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.
Re: Traveling to Koh Samui.

Good On Yer Statts, I Once did Nong-Khai-Bkk-Cha-Am-Surat Thani-Ranong-Phuket-Then up the other side to BKK-Pattaya-& Back to Nong Khai......6,800kms in 10 Days,But as I Said " Once was enough for me "stattointhailand wrote: ↑July 26, 2018, 6:03 pmAbout 10 times 747
Years ago I would always do it in one hit dep Udon in the evening and get an early morning ferry but with the added traffic and worsening road conditions now it takes virtually as long to get to HH so I usually break the journey and have a night in Soi 80 now
Re: Traveling to Koh Samui.
Hmm possibly
According to Skyscanner they've still got the two flights a day up to at least Xmas but if I go on the Thai website they're not showing any availability from Monday 3rd September
Vlad did say in the OP he wanted to go in August so I guess its academic to this topic anyway
May the bridges I burn light the path in front of me

Re: Traveling to Koh Samui.
Whichever airline flies into Samui you will not get a cheap flight because of the very high airport fees.
Jerome and Nui's new househttp://bit.ly/NJnewHouse
In my posts all fees and requirements are the standard R&R but TIT and a brown envelope can make incredible changes YMMV.

Re: Traveling to Koh Samui.
Vlad the best beaches are South of HH (Tuk tuk/taxi) but even 1/2 km south of main beach entrance you will have loads of space/sand/sea to yourself.
Go to YouTube and search for Hua Hin Nightlife and you will get loads of vids of people walking the length of Soi 80 or all round Bintbaht.
Loads of accom available to suit all ranges from the likes of Wannara in centre close to everything 4* 2 x pools for less than B1000 to small clean guesthouses (3 or 4 rooms) with shared pool and 2 min walk to beach for about B350 a night (Soi 67 area).
E mail me if you want to know anything.
