KLOPP: STURRIDGE WILL PLAY

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says Daniel Sturridge will have a role to play for the club next season.

The forward's future at Anfield had been in doubt after he spent the second half of last season on loan at West Brom.

"Daniel is an outstanding player," said the German after watching his side beat Man Utd 4-1 in a friendly on Saturday.

"If he is fit, he will play a role in the team."

My quip about changing teams was tongue in cheek , WE simply could never do it !!

As mentioned earlier Liverpool do have cash to spend due to big money sales of players and relative success on the pitch ... its simply reinvesting to gain more success , IF Everton DID have and maybe still have money but the powers to be ie manager and owner chose to in the past spend it not very wisely on at best mediocre players that didnt work out selling them on at losses inmost cases , a trend that will possibly carry on by the look of things. Top players want to go to top clubs and Everton are not a top club at the present time FACT

Bad managerial choices , bad business moves financially , the bad running of the club do make the Toffees the poor relation when compared to Liverpool. FACT.

I have already stated on the grass roots thread im not hopeful about my beloved Scunthorpes chances this season , its gonna be a long hard season for sure but i wont stop me supporting them whatever the outcome ... look at the bigger picture and you got to be honest ..Everton are at best a mid table side hovering above the relegation zone and could possibly struggle this season as they are being left behind by the bigger boys and the smaller boys keep on improving season by season.. FACT ...
