rafting on the lake

anything like a big lake or reservoir where I can rent a raft and order food while rafting..anywhere within 60kilos of udon.Iknow ther are many in Loei but its a bit far for my time constraint..many thanks..Thomas

Lake Phen near Sang Khom, about 20 kilometres from Phen, about one hour from Udon is one.

I think Shado was referring to Lake Phan at Sangkhom..
Just a heads up... A 14yrs old girl from one of the rafts drowned there yesterday..
Safety is left a bit to be desired in these matters..

probably would be a 2 day strip for you if you're in Loei Province but the Ubol Rattana Dam lake with its Bangsean II area is bull of large party boats and rafts with the big meal deal..
