I have sent several emails to THAI Embassy in London regarding a documents supporting the 2 options of either a bank account containing £18000+ and the income of £1550( the current equivalent of 800k baht & 65k monthly income)
I asked how many months bank statements are required to support either option and they just say original statements or if copies they must be notarized
SO CAN ANYONE WHO HAS APPLIED TO LONDON CONFIRM IF YOHOW MANY MONTHS STATEMENTS THEY SUBMITTED FFOR A SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION
Also can you confirm how long it took to get the Criminal Record Certificate as I’ve heard that for some occupations in UK that require these they can take months to arrive( or is that just for some specific jobs?)
Finally how early can you submit an application as I’m thinking it might take 2 tries to get the correct ducks in a line
Many thanks in advance

I provided 3 months original bank statements, the criminal record check took about 10 days to come through and, my application was dealt with by return by the Thai Embassy.
Re: MULIPLE ENTRY NON IMMIGRANT O-A VISA FROM UK
Many thanks Samster for clarification
Was that for the £18k+ held in a bank in UK or the £1550 monthly Income?
Thanks

Re: MULIPLE ENTRY NON IMMIGRANT O-A VISA FROM UK
As it happens, I was fortunate to qualify on both criteria but, not sure if there is actually a requirement for a set amount when applying for visa rather than extension in Thailand. Perhaps other members could clarify.
Re: MULIPLE ENTRY NON IMMIGRANT O-A VISA FROM UK
Hi Samster
I am only concerned about applying for O-A in Uk at the London THAI Embassy
I qualify for both but hoping the £18+ is easier
So if you got your OA in uk I would like to know how many months statements you supplied to THAI embassy in London

Re: MULIPLE ENTRY NON IMMIGRANT O-A VISA FROM UK
I applied at RTE in London and, as noted above, provided 3 months statements

Thanks Samster and appreciate your feedback
