Nong Khai ASEAN Marathon,Sunday 16 December

Sunday 16 December sees the ASEAN Marathon come to Nong Khai again.
Other distances are the half marathon,10km and 5km.
So you can expect some traffic disruption as 10,000 runners descend on the town at the weekend.
Start and finish is at the Vviang Lifestyle mall on Prajak Road.Parts of Prajak Road are likely to be closed early Sunday morning but eveything should be done and dusted by 10am Sunday.

I wont know my race number till I check in on Saturday afternoon,Alan.
The races are all early morning starts....
From memory...
Marathon 4.30am
Half Marathon 5.30am
10km 6am
5km 6.15am
Will you be up ? Finishers will start coming in about 6.40am.
Me and the missus are both down for the 10km but one of us will miss out as we havent got a babysitter for the grandaughter.
However,at the moment,I,ve got one of those famous Thai head colds and the wife has a bit of an injury,so there could be an opportunity for you to compete !

Perfectly arranged yet again to clash with Chrissy shopping........... It MUST be a Thai thing ......... Oh we have a chance to make a few extra Bhat for the local shopkeepers by promoting xmas shopping, now what can we do to f*** it up. sort of smacks of lets hold an election and shut all the bars for days on end during the high tourist season
