Re: The Brick House.
I never thought I would agree with DM John but on this he has hit the nail on the head I see the countless hours Maxx and Annie put in and some of the staff unfortunatley staff in Udon have been left to do as they please for to long and its very difficult to change there attitude I know I keep going back to the BH time after time as I see how much work is going into trying to keep the place top notch but having been here many years know that udonness can bugger things up at anytime on saying that still the best by miles in my opinion

" I did chat with others , who told me my
experience was not unique of late " please
I was almost buying it up to that point
now same guy has posted scathing review on
tripadvise. it does need to be questioned

Re: The Brick House.
Hello everybody,
Thanks for your understanding and support.
Indeed we are understaffed. As DM wrote, it's very hard to find good staff and keep them working is even harder.
Of course we don't do everything right, we make our mistakes, subsequently we try to learn from our mistakes and improve. Given that, we make a meal right for one person, whist another person favors the same dish differently. So as you all know the old saying; "You can't please everybody".
I understand that you, as our valued customer, are irritated when we don't meet your expectations but getting all exited whilst behind the keyboard of your computers is not productive.
Well.... That we need more staff is clear. Anybody of you who could help me with that? 6x service staff (English spoken)
1x House keeping and 3x cooks who can work in a team and more than one dish at the time and.......under time pressure to get meals ready to serve. Salaries above average in the industrie in Udon. Apply within.
Cheers
Maxx

Re: The Brick House.
so says guy who goes out of his way to post
multiple negative reviews over his supposed
dining experience on morning of new years day
a guy with single digit post count no less , couldn't
be arsed to speak with owner either. calls himself
essex but is from aus? your whole agenda dubious
theres a few too many bogus reviewers , it isn't
fair to the establishment or other potential patrons

The standard of troll on this thread is disappointing. Not entertainiing, poor spelling, punctuation and phrasing.mech_401 wrote: ↑January 2, 2019, 4:39 pmso says guy who goes out of his way to post

Went of my way to post, was I on my way to Ban Chiang but took a wrong turn and finished up at Kut Chap, then made a posting on a dusty street corner from an unintended location?
Requires more thought and less alcohol.

Re: The Brick House.
maybe if you didn't seem to find such glee in
the malicious rubbishing of the business? the
" review" might be more believable? in particular
the one on tripadvise is downright mean-spirited?
the owner even offered to try and make it right.
you're not interested , now suddenly " out of town"

Dear Essex.
I understand your frustration. We did it wrong for you. I have explained the the reason. I have offered to put it right with you. Others understand and they comment too. Apparently you can't let go. I wrote in my previous post that you can't please everybody but now and then you come across people you don't want to please. I will not further reply on this threat.
Regards,
Maxx

Re: The Brick House.
Max, I have directed no criticism towards you and appreciate your honest response. I object to those trolls who know nothing about what happened but made smart arsed comments.
And acknowledged,
Nothing to do with them. Some comments, like DM were constructive,
Good luck to you in your endeavour to improve service, I wish you well. Unfortunately I was booked to fly out this morning. I will return around end of March and would like to meet you and clear the air I have no doubts that you are genuine in your aspiration to build a great venue.
Cheers

I've had a burger at the Brick House. Easily in the "Top Seven" burger joints in Udon.
