You attempt to make it personal -- or succeed in making it personal -- every time you post in any thread where I am posting. For the most part, I ignore your posts and you. The first time I retaliate against all the bullshiggity personal crap on a level that reaches yours, and I give "the brigade" a dose of their own medicine, you swear I've poisoned you and your cohorts.papafarang wrote: ↑January 18, 2019, 9:11 pmdefection is it then mark ? you got to understand ,95% of the world population don't know what a junior high school wrestling contest is, being a gym teacher I guess your using the right terminology then.I got a great pic of you and him/her sitting together, maybe I should make a meme out of it.just strange you can take a thread and turn it to poop.. excuse the pun
I think you need to weigh your legal risk tolerance level in Thailand and do what you think you must do.

You've lost the debate, pieman. And quite poorly, too.

Re: British PM to face No confidence vote tonight
For those who have been around UM for a while, one of the constant themes on the US politics threads was LS's protestations (in his previous livery as Ricohoc et al) that he was only interested (and I paraphrase) in what what was happening in the US.
He invited us non-yanks to concentrate on our own countries, because he would never venture into commentating on the domestic politics of other countries (again, I am paraphrasing).
WTF has happened to that?

fake news again L/S.
Re: British PM to face No confidence vote tonight
Why do Britons feel it is their god-given right to criticize others, but lose their rag completely when others criticize them? This happens regularly.

Was this Gove's finest hour?
I have read many accounts applauding and praising this speech. All write and agree that Corbyn is not a good fit to be PM, but they also point out that the Conservative party has let them down when it comes to BREXIT.
Can anyone provide an "inside UK" perspective?

There is a widespread belief—one with no historical or grammatical foundation—that it is an error to begin a sentence with a conjunction such as and, but or so. In fact, a substantial percentage (often as many as 10 percent) of the sentences in first-rate writing begin with conjunctions.
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." individual James, you know, the Bible guy.

That explains rather alot.
Re: British PM to face No confidence vote tonight
Does it? It was written by a Brittle (K James I) who probably knows alot is not a single word, but two separate words -- "a lot."
Fish in a barrel.

Like most contributors, I'm not inside UK but here's an alternative view on Gove's latest, desperate attempt to be noticed.Lone Star wrote: ↑January 19, 2019, 5:52 pm

Gove writes his own obituary, as Brexiteers insist that their moment is about to arrive
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/20 ... nt-arrive/
"The Brexiteers are also united by a Plan B which, rather than the “default managed no-deal” so despised by Remainers, could actually stand a chance of uniting the party.
Former Brexit secretary David Davis calls it “Plan A Plus and A Better Deal”, ERG deputy chairman Steve Baker calls it “A Better Deal and A Better Future” but both proposals amount to the same thing: A call to Mrs May to replace the Irish backstop with a Northern Irish border protocol based on an interim Free Trade Agreement and customs and trade facilitation agreement."
All fine and dandy until you factor in the Tories confidence and supply malarkey with the DUP.

Re: British PM to face No confidence vote tonight
Even if that gets passed in the commons , if it reaches the commons that is , Europe will not accept it .
They need the backstop to lock us in the E u forever .
No deal , appears to be the only answer .Or be shafted for ever more.

Gosh, you are clever - no flies on you.
From your last seven posts, 6 of them are derogatory about British people, & the other one is you being snarky.
Proud of that are you?

It's looking that way to me too.

Cabinet Brexiteer L i a m Fox:
"Failure to deliver Brexit would produce a yawning gap between Parliament and the people, a schism in our political system with unknowable consequences."
I can only imagine that it would have the potential to be larger than the Yellow Vests in France.

Re: British PM to face No confidence vote tonight
Does get rather tedious; I put Giggle on 'foe' recently. Most of what he posts is really rude, don't understand it why he has to be so persistent.dunroaming wrote: ↑January 20, 2019, 10:00 pmLone Star you and giggle need to meet and fornicate and have a baby ah sorry u already did last name Trump
Then again, walking around Central always illustrates the high number of socially inept losers are that are here, who think that because they have a few quid/dollar/rupee in their trousers, they are somehow like the rest of us.
(bit of a long sentence)
