Thai Airways have special Fare at the Moment

I have just booked Udon to Don Muang yesterday, after a couple of days debating which airline and looking on the net for the best price I went along to the travel agent.
Surprise surprise !! she quotes me a fare inclusive of TAX that I could not even find, she tells me that Thai Airways have promotion atthe moment and economy class Udon -Bangkok is 2445 baht !!!

I booked quickly !!

Answer = yes !!

No the fare I paid was single trip, the reason I snapped it up was because Thai allow you greater Luggage allowance (we have a connecting International Flight) and generally better service than Nok and most certainly of Air Asia.
Last but not least I get star alliance points with Thai, nothing with Nok.

They only have a limited number of those "special fares" on each flight though, and when they are sold it's the normal price for the other seats.

Fares on the Internet today for Nok and Thai, - from Phuket to Udon SINGLE were:-

Nok 3300 baht

Thai 6620 baht

Though I guess that was the "full fare" for Thai.

Yes, - Don Muang. There are no direct flights.
