Looks like the Isaan area is not too bad when it comes to Tuberculosis, ony the White Bufallo's are left there.

Obiously has a problem with Liver Cancer (Drinking too much piss) and Diabetes (to many sugars)

Relatively safe to drive??

I think the liver cancer is connected to eating raw meats (wild animals, uncooked fish and uncooked fermented fish).

Hi and you may eb correct, but then again the reality is that it was probably just plain old "liver failure", which the Thai's put down to Cancer, because they dont actually distinguish the diference and dont actually do many if any autopsies

It'a called cholangiocarcinoma มะเร็งท่อน้ำดี and it's a very serious issue with folks from Isaan. Thailand has the highest incidence of the cancer in the world

Yes unfortunately I am aware of cholangiocarcinoma, what it does and what the progressive signs are. Also from what I have read, cholangiocarcinoma is cancer that typically forms in the bile duct tubes and one that older people, say 55 and above more commonly get, than younger people.

Have seen it in action in someone who was in her mid-late 80's and another gentlemen in his early 70's. It took less than 5 months from when it was first diagnosed in each. The lady had Hep C in her younger years, but didn't drink. The gentlemen also had Hep C and did drink quite a fair bit. Hep C arguably being one of many possible contributing factors.

Once contracted, liver flukes may live in a person's body for 20 to 30 years if left untreated. People most commonly get infected with liver flukes through the following ways:

consuming freshwater fish infested with the flukes (sushi)
eating freshwater vegetables, such as watercress
drinking contaminated water
washing vegetables or fruits with contaminated water
