The article doesn't say the car washes are RUN by Eastern Europeans. And most of the 'employees' are somewhat darker in colour, Eastern Europeans can legally get better jobs ....

Macron ON THE BRINK: Le Pen takes lead in European elections poll as standoff intensifies
THE hard-right party of Marine Le Pen is clinging on to a narrow lead over President Emmanuel Macron’s République en Marche (REM) party, in a poll for the upcoming European parliament elections.
Mrs Le Pen’s Rassemblement national (RN) – formerly the National Front – will top the May 26 election with 24 percent of the French vote, the OpinionWay poll for Les Echos newspaper and Radio Classique showed.
The party are calling for a political shake-up and a return to the nation-state, while the president’s centrists are defending the idea of a more ambitious European project.
The young centrist’s REM party would obtain 22 percent of the vote, while the centre-right Républicains (LR) would garner just 14 percent.
An Ipsos poll last week saw the far-right list move into the lead on 22 percent, while Mr Macron slipped to 21.5 percent.
LR candidates were in third place on 13.5 percent.

EU CASE BOMBSHELL: Brexiteer vows to PROVE UK already left EU - court hearing ‘in WEEKS’
BREXITEER Robin Tilbrook is “80-90 percent sure of success” in proving Britain has left the European Union in an upcoming High Court case against the Government - claiming “there isn’t a legal professional I haven’t spoken to who doesn’t think we can win
The English Democrats chairman is expecting his case to be heard in the High Court within five to six weeks. His legal argument focuses on Theresa May not having the legal power to delay Brexit past the original deadline of March 29. Mr Tilbrook has argued although the under-pressure Prime Minister had the power to begin Britain’s two-year withdrawal process from the European Union, she in fact did not have the power to amend it. The Brexiteer claims this means the extension granted by Brussels last month until October 31 is null and invalid, and Britain actually left the EU on March 29.

The Brexit Party is on course for a huge European election victory in Wales – while both Labour and the Conservatives face historic defeats. These are the headline findings that come from the latest Welsh Political Barometer poll.
Among those indicating that they would vote, and giving a party preference, these are the levels of support for each party that YouGov found (with changes from our previous Barometer poll, in April, indicated in brackets):
Brexit Party: 36% (+26)
Plaid Cymru: 19% (+4)
Labour: 15% (-15)
Liberal Democrats: 10% (+4)
Greens: 8% (+5)
Conservative: 7% (-9)
UKIP: 2% (-9)
Change UK: 2% (-6)
If these results were to be replicated in the election itself, then Wales’ four seats in the European Parliament would be allocated as follows:

If this guy wins... I know, but humor me here, laughing-boy Farage better have a real and valid party manifesto in place rather than his vacuous 'we the people', ra-ra nonsense as he flits from one dead English inner-city pedestrian-zone cow pat to another while failing to dodge the flying milk shakes (aka Yaxley-Lennon bombs) in Scunthorpe.yartims wrote: ↑May 20, 2019, 7:21 pmhttps://www.express.co.uk/news/politics ... court-case

The EU is a Soviet Union Mk 2 in the making. Increasingly it is being run and shaped by, with and for a narrow elite armed, like the Bolsheviks, with a claim of ideological superiority to justify its excesses, methods and transfer of democratic rights to a Brussels politburo of an Orwellian porcine leadership.

True. The (soon-to-be-once-and-forever) Thai PM only ever did one, fleeting Udon Thani fly-past on his electoral stumping. This ballsy Belgian Guy strode right into the heart of Brexit country. Oh wait... London, not Sunderland. But I digress.Zico wrote: ↑May 24, 2019, 12:42 amWhy is there a problem with a European politician talking about EU elections?yartims wrote: ↑May 22, 2019, 9:10 pmThe problem people are having with verhofstadts interference is that he truly believes that the UK is now just a colony of the EUSSR and he can say what he likes. He did appear to have washed his hair and wore a nice new cardy for his London appearance.
I won't demonize much but this is the same 'European politician' who thinks a European army would be a truly splendid thing.

"The former prime minister of Belgium attacked the EU for its inertia in the face of crisis and called for reforms of “daring and vision” after Brexit."
Daring and vision, eh? Maybe he sees raising an EU army that can invade post-Brexit Britain and take it back?
Re: EU in or out? Brexit: The Movie
Second, a “no deal” Brexit is now much more likely – indeed, an increasing number of Leave voters who would have previously accepted Theresa May’s compromise deal, will now settle for nothing short of a clean break.
Oh the delicious irony that fanatical Remainers, by their constant whingeing and refusal to accept a democratic vote, may help to deliver the result they dreaded most of all.
In the longer term, the spectre of Farage and the Brexit Party standing in a general election must be worrying the main parties sick.
And if MPs conspire to revoke Article 50 and cancel Brexit altogether there would be a collective howl of rage from voters that could propel Farage to even greater electoral success and perhaps – who knows? – into Number 10 itself. We live in crazy times and stranger things have happened. The brutal truth for Remainers is this – the only way to stop Farage is by delivering Brexit.

While as an American BREXIT is none of my business, but I found this article interesting.
Brexit Party storms to victory in EU elections smashing Tories and Labour in historic win ...
NIGEL Farage tonight delivered a massive “wake-up call” to the Tories and Labour as he led the Brexit Party to a historic win in the European elections. Millions of voters deserted the two main parties and flocked to Mr Farage in a bid to show their fury at the failure of the political class to deliver Brexit.

Re: EU in or out? Brexit: The Movie
Labour and Tories could not muster more than 25% of the vote combined . A sad reflection on British politics at moment .
Yet no more than they deserve in my opinion .
Interestingly overall the Green parties throughout Europe did very well also . The people are concerned about climate change after all .

Re: EU in or out? Brexit: The Movie
Although at first sight it looks like great news for Brexiteers and the Brexit party, if you look a little closer not so. The liberals and greens (both very pro-remain) got very substantial gains in vote share, and actually polled more than the Brexit party when combined. The other Pro-remain party didn't get it's act together in time to get anywhere, but still beat the old UKIP (who came in 8th place). The conservatives have probably had there worst election result ina hundred years.
The reality is that the UK is still as divided over Europe as ever. It is also a wakeup call to the major parties that on such big issues they need a clear stand. Fence sitting just means you loose from both sides, not one. Both parties were ambiguous on this for fear of loosing votes. Instead they lost more.
As the big parties cannot resolve it, only one answer - put it to the people. Of course the Brexiteers will say we voted already, but that was 3 years ago with a lot of false claims being made. old voters have died. new ones have become eligible to vote, and some will have changed their minds. A new mandate is needed.
