Car Tax renewal

Just renewed my car tax at the original Tax office on the Main road as you are coming from Nong Khai into Udon.
They now have a Drive Thru facility.

I parked in the car park expecting to go to the main office when the security guard pointed to the facility.
Drove the car into the lane & handed in my blue book & compulsory Insurance note.

Three minutes later the girl told me the amount to be paid.
Handed over the money change given & drove out the gate with my new 2063 tax disc.

The whole operation from entering the car park took less than 5 mins & did not even have to leave the car.
This is a big improvement on the old system of going into the office taking a Q number etc.

Signs of progress.......banking, fast passports, id cards, car registration/tax, immigration. So much better than in year's past. Thanks for the update
