Kim and Trump truly are the Barnham and Baileys of international diplomacy. Only one more asshole required for the full three ring circus.

Re: Will Trump make the Grade.
OPEC was their own worst enemy. The US knew that the US and Canada had huge oil deposits but it was simply too expensive to extract it. With OPEC artificially keeping the price of crude oil expensive and the advancements in extracting that oil made it worthwhile to develop new methods.Lone Star wrote: ↑July 1, 2019, 1:13 pm.
Another Energy Record Under the Trump Administration
US crude oil output has reached a new milestone of over 12 million barrels per day. A boom in shale production in the Permian Basin of West Texas is chiefly responsible for this production increase. US oil production is on pace to overtake both Russia and Saudi Arabia.
The Permian Basin is expected to be a catalyst for oil production growth for at least the next 5 years. The State of Texas alone holds over 60 billion barrels of shale oil, which is more recoverable oil than in Saudi Arabia.
STEADY WINNING for energy independence and supplying energy to the rest of the world.
Venezuela is still very oil rich but socialism killed that lucrative industry. Democrats are too stupid to open their eyes and see how socialism actually works. Even on this forum, libtards are too stupid to to admit that the US needed a business minded president. All they can do is hate, nit pick and call him names. Actually makes me smile and it reveals just how stupid they really are.

Who is hiring these Criminals?????? They should be locked up. or thrown to Trump supporters to be dismembered.
Re: Will Trump make the Grade.
Lets see how the "I'll take Fries with that " is doing for the American people
Promise: "Nobody builds walls better than me, believe me, and I'll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I'll have Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words." Trump promised to build the wall along the entire 2,000-mile length of the border; he later said that with mountains and rivers forming natural barriers, his wall would only have to cover about 1,000 miles.
Performance: By the end of 2018, about 40 miles of replacement barriers had been built or begun on Trump's watch; construction was expected to start on an additional 61 miles in 2019. President Trump had not asked Congress to fully fund his "beautiful" border wall. Mexico had not agreed to pay for new or replacement barriers or any wall construction at all.
STRIKE!!!!! ONE

Re: Will Trump make the Grade.
You've summarized it all very nicely, glalt -- with the exception of one very important thing. Bayrack did all he could to over-regulate the oil industry and prevent offshore drilling (like he did with coal). Trump nicely reversed all of that bullshiggity.glalt wrote: ↑July 1, 2019, 3:52 pmOPEC was their own worst enemy. As for Democrats and their stupidity, I think it's only about half of them who are ignorant of running a business and in free market economics. The other have are socialists to their core who know exactly what they're doing -- like Bayrack.
The really amazing thing -- and you touched on it nicely -- is that Trump continues to march on, despite all of the attacks from enemies, by delegating responsibilities and keeping his Executive Branch working.

Once someone acquires a green card, they have legal status. If they've overstayed, they are illegal at that very moment.
And yes, they HAVE committed a crime and violated their contract between the US an their home country.

Free markets operate on supply & demand. If supplies rise faster than demand, prices drop. If prices drop, maybe oil companies that can't afford to produce should stop producing.
In every sector of the US economy, companies come and go every month. It's what happens in a free market.

Re: Trump and the Stock Markets
Monday morning is poised for huge gains in the DJIA with futures in the 250 area on news that China and the US are going back to the negotiating table on trade talks along with no further escalation at this time.
The US is allowing US companies to sell components to Huawei, but the US is still freezing out the company from use for itself and any allies who want to do business with the US. In return, China is purchasing US agricultural products.

Trump a fighter? In your dreams. He's been kissing Putin, Bone Saw and Jong-un's arses for years. It's embarrassing.

Steady on. Plenty of employers want to hire legal or illegal immigrants. They usually work way harder than "natives". I offered a job to a Chinese woman today. She'll be a hard worker.newtovillagelife wrote: ↑July 1, 2019, 4:06 pmWho is hiring these Criminals?????? They should be locked up. or thrown to Trump supporters to be dismembered.

Green Cards award permanent residence status to their holders. The holders are considered legal residents of the US as long as those holders continue to follow residency rules, but they are not citizens.
For those who choose to bother to read:
https://www.usa.gov/green-cards
When Trump issued his travel ban against certain countries excluding their citizens from travel to the US, those who held green cards were not included in the ban because they are considered legal residents. However, it did not prevent the government from properly vetting all entrants from those countries regardless of status.

It is a well publicized fact to produce Shale oil at a profit the price of oil needs to be 80$ per barrel.Lone Star wrote: ↑July 1, 2019, 4:36 pmFree markets operate on supply & demand. That is why the companies are going bankrupt & to keep hoping the price will go up borrowing billions of $.
Supplying oil at a loss is not steady winning.
Even in the UK they have halted Shale Oil production in many places as not profitable.
In the US Trump has made it easy to borrow money for Oil production.
Maybe that is why Trump is trying to get sanctions and trying to start a conflict with Iraq to bring the price of oil up.

Re: Will Trump make the Grade.
Here is another Happy Meal served up from you know who!!
As a candidate, Trump called "for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on." He promised to "immediately suspend immigration from any nation that has been compromised by terrorism."
After courts blocked his executive order temporarily suspending immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries and the U.S. refugee program, President Trump (on his third try) got a green light from five Supreme Court justices to restrict the entry of nationals from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, North Korea and Venezuela, a policy that covers less than 12 percent of the world's Muslim population (and does not include Saudi Arabia, the home of the 9/11 terrorists and why would it?
Can I get a McDonald’s Monopoly prize for that??

Re: Will Trump make the Grade.
Like other CBoS, you're trying to win an argument that I never made.
My post was about reaching 12 million barrels of production per day. Some company is producing it, or it wouldn't be happening. Argue with them about it.
You're starting to get like one of the other emotionally invested Dunning-Kruger syndrome sufferers.

Alien = not native.
A legal alien has a green card or is a tourist. Permanent resident status is only offered to legal aliens.
An illegal alien is someone in the country illegally -- either entered illegally or overstayed a lawful entry.
I am a legal alien in Thailand. I am also a resident.
Leftists try to conflate the two, deliberately refusing to acknowledge the very important distinction. They're just not very smart.

I would suggest that you do a little research. The latest figures say that the break even point for shale oil is just over $40 a barrel. Only fools would laugh at Trump's success with the US economy.pal52 wrote: ↑July 1, 2019, 6:48 pmIt is a well publicized fact to produce Shale oil at a profit the price of oil needs to be 80$ per barrel.Lone Star wrote: ↑July 1, 2019, 4:36 pmFree markets operate on supply & demand.
