Re: Democrats, Republicans and Elections

Post by Doodoo » July 20, 2019, 10:35 am

With all of the back and forth regarding polls and Democrats vs Trump in the presidential election, there are some very simple things being lost on all of those who hate Trump.

1. How many people who voted for Trump in 2016 will vote for a Socialist in 2020? I'm betting zero.

2. How many people today, as a result of Trump's policies, are gainfully employed, off of welfare, running a thriving business, and see real improvements in their life? I'm betting there were lots of these people who did not vote for Trump in 2016, who might vote for Trump in 2020 to continue the cuts in regulation.

3. Which Democrat running for president, who has claimed that Trump's MAGAnomics is not working, has offered any program or policy to IMPROVE the US economy or will lift ALL Americans without penalizing another group of Americans? NOT ONE. Democrats are set to penalize the makers to give to the takers.

4. When was the last time there were active movements -- publicly announced and organized -- to leave any political party? I'm referring to organizations like Walk Away, BLEXIT, JEXIT and others. Registered Democrats leaving the party. Black Americans leaving the party. Jews leaving the party. The Democrat party, in their lurch socialist has left these groups and other groups behind.

So are Americans going to vote to reverse all of the economic success and individual liberty? Do you think they want government to intercede and run their lives, make private health care illegal, raise taxes on everyone, fling the gates open on the border and allow everyone in with free health care? You better think again.

Trump may say some things that make people cry and it may hurt the feelings of some, but the ones crying are the ones who want to tear down all of the progress that has been made in the last 30 months.

Well I will offer my opinion and information
1. Dont know
2. Dont know
3. ITS NOT THEIR JOB AT PRESENT TO RUN THE COUNTRY. TRUMP SET HIS VISION IN 2016 , HIS VISION AND IT IS HIS RESPOMSIBILITY TO SHOW AND OBTAIN THE GOALS HE SET. SO FAR LAST COUNT HE WASNT OBTAINING COMPLETION ON HIS SET GOALS
4. WHERE TO START (THERE ARE ABOUT 50 SEPERATE PARTIES) SO YOU CAN LEAVE AND GO BOTH DEMOCRATS ADN REPUBLICANS
Libertarian Party FORMED 1971 PRESIDENTIAL VOTE 4,489,221 (3.28%)
Green Party FORMED 2001 PRESIDENTIAL VOTE 1,429,596 (1.05%)

1 and 2. Not surprised.

3. If those Democrat candidates for president want to be taken seriously, they better have a plan other than seizing assets of Americans and giving them to someone else. Much like you and your other CBoS members, these candidates criticize Trump and his policies, but NEVER tell us what they are FOR and what would work better. They're running for president. GET TRUMP ain't gonna get them to the White House. Americans who weren't alive during the Reagan years are seeing how free markets work. Democrats have to convince those people that they have a better idea to improve on it. So far, nothing.

Trump is 30 months into his administration. Read up, Mr. Don't know: https://710wor.iheart.com/featured/mark ... ts-so-far/

4. Those other political parties were not started as a rejection of any particular party. Green and others were started to emphasize a particular mission -- a positive mission. The examples I gave are a REJECTION of the Democrat move to the left and the fact that those groups do not feel adequately represented by Democrats. Note their names ... Walk Away and two others include the word "exit" -- the goal being to LEAVE. They represent negative feelings toward Democrats.

You're entitled to your opinion, but you're out of your depth; and your examples do not adequately address the issues that I put forward.

Certainly those other 50 parties were started due to rejection of both the Democrats and Republicans what other reason(s) would they start another Party.
The Dem/Rep had a member and he said boy I sure dont like the way this is going with our Party so I am going to start THE Black Riders Liberation Party (which is viable Party) or the Vermont Progressive Party (which 9 elected members in Vermont)
Their names can be what ever they want BUT ALL parties are started due to a dislike of the platforms of what the Democrats and the Republicans are representing

Your statement was "When was the last time there were active movements -- publicly announced and organized -- to leave any political party? "

Lip Service Did a bit more research and here ya go

1)The United Utah Party
(UUP) is a political party in the United States. It was founded in 2017 and is active only in the state of Utah. The party identifies itself as politically moderate, and was created out of frustration with the Republican and Democratic parties.

2)American Party of South Carolina.
According to Rex and Lovelace, their impetus in starting the new party was to present a centrist alternative to the Republican Party and Democratic Party that could address perceived government dysfunction.

3) Oregon Progressive Party Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader and he most certainly does not like the Dems or Rep

There are more if you are interested but this deflates your argument that NO Parties have ever been started due to rejection of the Democrats or Republicans

You have failed to see.

All of your examples are NEW political parties. New parties are started all the time. Forever in US history. They come and go like vacations every year. I never said that new political parties weren't being formed.

Walk Away, BLEXIT and JEXIT are not political parties. They are movements AWAY from the Democrat Party. None of them are forming new parties. None of them. They are either voting for Republicans or registering as Independents -- away from the Democrats.

You're trying to win an argument that I never made. Straw man.

You even quoted me -- AND STILL GOT IT WRONG. You proved that starting another political party was not my argument. Damn, man, you do this all the time. You substantiate my argument instead of prove it to be wrong. Image
"When was the last time there were active movements -- publicly announced and organized -- to leave any political party? "
I said NOTHING about starting another party. I also didn't state that it never happened before. I ASKED A QUESTION. "When was the last time ... " Image

Your statement:

You deflated yourself. Image

I NEVER said that other parties were not started. Again, for the reading impaired:
"When was the last time there were active movements -- publicly announced and organized -- to leave any political party? "

So you run along and keep listing political parties. You can win that argument with yourself because I'm certainly not making it. I never made that claim. What is happening to Democrats is entirely different.

Your emotional investment in my posts is eating you up.

.

That damn racist Trump. Helping more Black people in jail.

Trump got a call from Kanye West about the status of rapper A$AP Rocky, who is in jail in Sweden.

“I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$AP Rocky. So many people would like to see this quickly resolved!”

In the week that he has had more important to say "I have some black friends" than let the legitimate judicial system of another nation take its course.

Americans jailed in foreign countries are routinely reviewed by the US State Department. It happens often.

Makes it worse. Let SD officials do their job. He pokes his nose in showing he doesn't know the Swedish PM's name to try show what a great guy he is helping get Rocky his black friend out of jail.

You don't know what you're talking about, but I figured as much. Another member of CBoS.

Trump has only instructed the State Department to make sure that our citizen is being treated fairly and to find out what has occurred. Every country should do that, and if yours doesn't, too bad for you.

.

Democrats still have money problems.

Kind of ironic since they hate capitalism so much -- which would PROVIDE more revenue for their campaigns.

The DNC is operating in the red, spending six times what they took in during June's campaigning.

Republicans have raised twice the campaign donations as Dems in June, and the total has the RNC at 400% more revenue than the DNC. In addition, Republicans have NO DEBT. Dems only wish that was true for them. Democrats are still trying to pay down debt from their failed 2016 campaigns. Just as Dems do with the finances of the federal government, they are doing with their campaigns -- borrow, Borrow, BORROW.

Bad news is usually released on Fridays -- ahead of the weekend -- and the DNC dumped this news late Friday.

According to a Hillary Clinton staffer in an interview with Vice News, "People aren’t giving to the DNC because they don’t know why the f*ck they should. What is it that you’re paying for?”

DNC national coffers are running dry, and they don't have the ability to help with financing of candidates even in local and state elections.
