The currency inflation rate in Iran has now topped 50% in the month of June. Over the past 12 months, inflation is over 30%. The International Monetary Fund has predicted annual inflation over 37%.

However, the rising prices for staples is skyrocketing. Prices for food, drinks and tobacco have increased over 85%.

The USD-Rial rate has gone from 40,000 rials to the dollar to over 140,000 on the free currency market.

Annual inflation rates are usually calculated comparing a given period of 12 months with the averages of the previous 12-month period.

Vegetables - 155.6% monthly price increase year-over-year
Meat - 117% monthly price increase year-over-year

The sanctions against Iran are working, and while the mullahs may want to wait out Trump in the hopes that he won't be re-elected, they will have a much tougher Trump if he is re-elected in 2020.

Because many of the inflation numbers come out of Iran, there's a good chance that they are under-reported.

So why would one think the Iranians are pissed at the Americans.
Is it because they cant get into the NFL or Major League Baseball? They certainly do abide or rather relish the 2nd Ammendment as their National Sport is SHOOTING and want to partake.
Or is it that they are a country like any other that just wants to be left alone, remember Vietnam, and do things like other countries, like having a good Medical support system, good religious views, owning a Nuclear bomb or two, or three....
