Driving - Udon to Chon Buri

Post by wazza » May 20, 2007, 5:52 pm

I will need to drive to Chon Buri next month from Udon, ( have driven to BKK 50 times before) Does anyone know the short cut that bypasses BKK entirely.

Im working in Algeria, right now, and dont have access to my road map, but need to plan this etc....

Thanks in advance

Easy: Take 2 from Udon to 304. Take 304 to 314. 314 on down to 7. Will take you right to Chon Buri. All 4 lane except for about 20 k through the mountains. I can do that trip in about 6 hours.

yes a good route,i would normally take the 331 the turn off after kabin buri as i would be going to patts plus its a slightly better scenic route rather than the major motorway route heading for chachongsao, then on to the 344 cross onto the 7 and into chonburi, probably a little longer time for the journey as the roads may be a little slower ,also a nice stop off point is the resturant on the 304 that runs along the edge of khao yai n/park on the left hand side going towards chonburi. As always its horses for course's.

Happy Motoring ! .Image
