well, if China "dumped" the amount of U.S. debt they hold they'd take a loss wouldn't they? If they hold it they get at least the interest on them. Would they be willing just to lose billions of dollars in a "dump"? The U.S. debt to China is $1.11 trillion as of May 2019. That's 27% of the $4.1 trillion in Treasury bills, notes, and bonds held by foreign countries. Japan hold's the second highest amount at about 1.10 trillion. The rest of the $22 trillion national debt is owned by either the American people or by the U.S. government itself.

How many billions are they already losing, I wouldn't call their bluff, they think long term....not short term like the US.

But the Moron, must know that he is dealing with a Different Culture, that Thinks differently, right???? And is willing to endure, and Sacrifice.

Not much viewer interest in the debates hosted by CNN. Numbers way down -- almost half of NBC debate numbers. CNN debates had barely more viewers than "America's Got Talent" and the "Bachelorette".

NBC averaged around 16.5 million viewers. CNN was just under 10 million viewers.

In contrast, the Republican debates in 2015 and 2016 attracted in the mid 20 millions.

10 million viewers is 0.03% of Americans. Little to no interest.

Ah, Elijah Cummings -- neglector of Maryland's 7th Congressional District -- in the news again.

Home burglarized in his rat-infested and drug-infested city. According to police reports, it happened prior to his verbal sparring with Trump.

And here's good ole Elijah call his city a "drug-infested" area.

It is more and more apparent that China isn't going to negotiate towards a free and fair trade deal.

Trump pulls the trigger on tariffs on $300 billion more of Chinese products that weren't facing tariffs before.

Trade talks continue, but it's probably a waste of time.

There's always the possibility that there would be no trade between the US and China at all -- especially after the passage of USMCA.

I thought US Rep. Tulsi Gabbard from Hawaii was one of the more sane candidates running for president as a Democrat. She's not. She repeatedly claims that Trump is supporting al-Qaeda. Insane.

Why not - in recent times they have elected a B-grade Hollywood actor, and then a narcissistic New York real estate salesman and conman. ;)
And a peanut farmer who was elected President..

Why will the US win the trade war? Like it or not, the US is one of the few countries that is nearly self sufficient. The countries who have unfair trade policies know that and will have no choice other than to agree to fair trade. When the US was super rich, they gave many sweetheart trade deals. Those days are over with and it is difficult for those countries with sweetheart trade deals to give them up.

That's it in a nutshell.

What Trump is doing with tariffs is to balance the trade. The so-called trade allies are crying because Trump isn't letting them screw us over anymore.

It's really quite simple. Those haters need to take a look at the state of the country today to see the great job that Trump is doing despite the lack of cooperation from the useless congress. Isn't it amazing that some people would rather see Trump fail at the expense of the country? I would say that is very un-American.

Why is Uncle Joe Biden ahead in the polls? He could go further ahead if he would capitalize on the fact that the socialist plans are simply wishful thinking and will never happen. Even taxing the rich to death would not pay for their pie in the sky schemes.

USA Today
February 2018

Baltimore is the nation's most dangerous big city

And here we have the cities with the highest homicide rates. ALL have been Democrat governed cities for decades.

Democrats cannot escape the Plantations that they've created in urban America. It's on them and their policies.

Why is the market falling, why has the Fed had to lower interest rates....sound like Trumps tariffs (taxes on US customers and companies) are hurting, not helping. Tariffs have never been the way to solve trade issues, it's a race to the bottom. A great business mind(Trump), in his own mind, should know this.

Hope he never runs into some people from the 9th grade
