The first minute was more of Trump's nonsense that Americans are not paying the tariffs. Propaganda.

Thanks Glat
Due to the udonmap rules of etiquette, I am not able to post names. My point being, that in my opinion most posters are decent logical people. These decent posters seldom post because they don't want to open themselves to unfair criticism. Feel free to equate the term, a few, to a number of. I view these terms as the same. You should be able to easily distinguish bitter hateful posts to logical helpful posts.

IGNORING KNOWLEDGE IS IGNORANT

When 370 economists, including nineteen Nobel laureates, signed a letter warning against Donald Trump's stated economic policies in November 2016, Navarro said that the letter was "an embarrassment to the corporate offshoring wing of the economist profession who continues to insist bad trade deals are good for America

.

And yet, with all of these experts, Main Street is still buying.

The actual data does NOT reflect what the experts claim is happening. Millions of Americans would not continue to be optimistic and retail sales would have fallen off considerably.

This underpinning of the economy is what is preventing any collapse based on all of this trade "talk". I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I know of the effect that media tries to project upon Americans. The media's goal is still GET TRUMP. If they convince consumers that they are being hammered by tariffs -- even though the data does not reflect that -- and get them to stop purchasing, the underpinning is gone.

If consumers stop buying, companies reduce inventories. Manufacturing declines. Companies lay off workers due to reduced sales. Laid off workers go on welfare and unemployment. Unemployment numbers rise. Consumers lose even more confidence. Company profits decline. The markets start selling off. Consumers lose even more confidence. And on and on and on it goes until the snowball can't be stopped, and the media gets what they want -- a Democrat Socialist in the White House -- who will inherit a horrible economy, won't be able to pay for all of their socialist programs without completely bankrupting the country, will make it worse with all of their socialist policies, and globalism gets an even stronger foothold inside US borders.

Be careful what you wish for, Cheerleaders. When the US economy collapses, what do you think will happen to your own? And don't blow it off. Look at markets around the world today. You're allowing your hate for Trump to outweigh what's best for the worldwide economy. That's what Democrats are doing with domestic policy in the US. But up to you.

The major problem is that only law abiding citizens obey the law. Therefore creating more silly laws does no good except to disarm decent people.

. . .

Background checks are a slippery slope. Who determines people who are unfit to have a firearm? I certainly wouldn't trust the government to make that determination.
Correct.

The key to all of the background check and "red flag" laws being proposed is the constitutional right to DUE PROCESS. Every American deserves a hearing to determine their fitness to own a firearm if their mental state is challenged by any "red flag" law. This is why Trump eliminated Obama's "social security restriction on gun owners". It disarmed them simply because someone else was taking care of their finances. THOUGHT CRIMES don't count.

It seems to me that you have been the Cheerleader - (in-Chief) here ........ for the Blubbery Orange Bullshiiter.

If the US economy is going well - which it has been - you claim it is all down to Trump. And your disdain for the rest of the world economy, to the benefit of the US, has been palpable.

Your newly discovered concern is risible.

Have no doubt - without some sharp changes of direction, when it collapses, along with the rest of the world, it will be entirely down to the same Bullshiiter. Perhaps he, and you, should have factored this in a bit earlier.

"You're allowing your hate for Trump to outweigh what's best for the worldwide economy." I dont think so , read on

"Exports from Thailand declined 2.15 percent year-on-year to USD 21.41 billion in June 2019, less than market forecasts of a 5 percent drop and following a 5.79 percent fall in the previous month. That was the fourth straight month of yearly decrease in overseas sales, amid weakening global demand and ongoing trade tensions between Washington and Beijing. Exports to China slumped 14.9 percent, while those to the US fell 2.1 percent. Considering the January to June period, exports declined 2.91 percent from a year earlier. The government sees exports growing 3 percent this year, while the central bank has predicted no increase. Exports in Thailand averaged 10743.96 USD Million from 1991 until 2019, reaching an all time high of 22827.25 USD Million in August of 2018 and a record low of 1997 USD Million in February of 1991."

Remember what Donny and his Riders want, Make America Great Again NOT Make the world great Again as in a World Economy. Take from them and give to Us we want the jobs, we want you to help us defeat Iran, we want you to help us put down the Phillsbury Dough Boy of the North, we need to be prepared with others to defeat Venezuala and so on and so on

. . .
You still refuse to acknowledge the purpose for the tariffs. To balance the screwing that the US has been getting for decades and to negotiate for totally free and fair trade.

Trump and the US didn't start this. Trump is the first one with the balls to correct it.

The weakest wage-growth states during the Obama years have bounced back with soaring incomes under Trump's MAGAnomics.

The Pew Research Center released data that shows Alabama, Arizona, Iowa, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico and West Virginia are enjoying major gains in income growth since Trump.

WV - 1.3% wage growth under Obama / 4.3% wage growth under Trump
NV - 1.6% wage growth under Obama / 3.5% wage growth under Trump
AZ - 1.8% wage growth under Obama / 3.3% wage growth under Trump

Those are the best examples.

L/S l am locked in with your political views, however l cannot subscribe to the USA position curtesy of ‘the right to bear arms’. The founding fathers at the time of rampant lawlessness enshrined this position per the second amendment. If only they had a crystal ball and had anticipated the callous disregard for human life that exists in society today, the constitution would have a much different interpretation and application of the right to bear arms.

I understand your position.

The People have the power and mechanism to amend the Constitution. They choose not to do so.
